An interesting photo from Isfahan. A shah built this square and called it Maydan-e-Naghshe Jahan and also known as Maydan-e-Shah. It was then renamed to Maydan-e-Imam but as this sign says, the builders who named don't even get any respect. Maydan-e-Naghshe Jahan has been painted over. How sad.
