My Ammo Kiamarz
How beautiful you were to me. How strong, tall, and handsome.
How charismatic, good natured, and gentile.
How appropriate for you to have two daughters given your most gentle soul.
Although life broke you, the most upright of all men, the first man, the Kiamarz,
your record here with us speaks of accomplishment.
It speaks of love and perseverance.
How beautiful you were to me indeed and how unbearable will be your absence in our lives.
All hope is shattered. All faith is lost. The only gain is your memory.
I will take it with me to the other side.
I will show you who you were and what you meant to me when we meet again.
How beautiful you were to me. How beautiful you are to me still.

My Iranian of the day is my Amoo Kiamarz whom passed away last week at age 46 in Tehran. He was an amazing and wonderful human being and I missed him very much.
