David Fariborz Diaan (Davoodian) was born in Tehran on April 12, 1959 and moved to the United States in 1976 to study radio and television at the University of Missouri. In 1981 he founded the The Express Group in Los Angeles, California. He founded the Liquid Productions theater group in 1995, which stages comedic plays in Southern California and New York. In 1996 and 1997, he starred in the XTV sketch comedy television program. FP Los Angeles Film Festival.
