Iranian attorney, Jamshid S. Irani, an active member of the Bar as well as the Iranian community met with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeline Albright on June 6, 2006 at a conference held by The Center for American Progress in New York City, New York. During the said meeting former secretary Albright and Mr. Irani engaged in a meaningful discussion of concerns of the Iranian-American community in the United States regarding the unfolding events between the two nations. Mr. Irani was introduced to former secretary as an active member in the legal community as well as an active member of the Iranian community in the U.S. for the past several years. Jamshid S. Irani, a well known figure within the Iranian community throughout the United States, is a lawyer and has represented many Iranian cases at State and Federal courts. He is admitted to practice at the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. Mr. Irani's practice is based in New York and he lives in New Jersey. He is actively running one of the best Persian poetry nights in New Jersey- New York City area. Well done Mr. Irani! -- Alireza Tarighian
