News.com.au: Australia's CHANNEL 9 personality Leila McKinnon was banned from a US nuclear research facility while filming a new show because she was born in Iran. The Los Angeles-based ex-newsreader was working on a story for Nine's program What's Good For You, which debuts tomorrow night. "I told them I was Australian, but they said 'Sorry, no exceptions, if you're born in Iran you're not allowed in here'," McKinnon told The Sunday Telegraph yesterday. "Because I was born in Iran I get searched at airports more often." >>>
