Childhood friend
I would like to nominate my childhood friend Mimi aka Mitra Forati Van Vuren as Iranian of the Day. She is so much related to my best childhood souveniers in Shiraz. I don't think I have ever come across such beautiful and expressive eyes in my life except those of Olivia De Havilland as Lady Maryan in the Adventures of Robin Hood. She has not changed, A great day for the  Great Lady she has become. This photo was taken on Christmas in Shiraz I believe and somehow the song "Man o To" by Neli reminds me of Mimi and some sweet childhood years. So I would like to dedicate this song to her and to other pals from SICS: The Shiraz International Community School. -- Darius KADIVAR
