Jewish Women’s Society of Hamadan. Women’s Meeting
(Majles-e zanha), Hamadan, 1922. The Jewish Women’s Society
was focused on educating Jewish women on various issues of religion,
home-care, and health-care. The society also taught courses in
Torah studies and held reading groups for the magazine ‘Alam-e
Nesvan (Women’s World), which was published under the general
