Khamenei is an angel to the religious masses
by Shutruk on Thu Feb 10, 2011 08:37 AM PSTSure, all the royalists, communists, liberals, separatists, feminists and Bahais on this forum hate Khamenei - we know that. But inside Iran, the conservative and religious masses love him.
Btw, 15% of those polled did not offer a favourable opinion of Khamenei: That translates as 0.15*47m = 7 million Iranians.
Why can't you accept that there are millions who oppose the regime but also many more who support it?
Why do you lot always claim that 99.99% of Iranians agree with you always? That would be totalitarian.
Is it April first already?

You're right COP Jaan
by Onlyiran on Wed Feb 09, 2011 09:11 AM PSTThe average guy in Iran is sitting at home drinking his tea. All of a sudden, his phone rings and there's a voice in the other end saying that he's calling from the U.S., and wants to know what this guy's opinion is about Khamenei. I'm sure the guy is going to spill his guts out and tell the caller what he REALLY things about Ali geda. :-))
We all know about these "polls"
by Cost-of-Progress on Wed Feb 09, 2011 08:50 AM PSTThey were tagord's favorite "proof" that the regime enjoys popular support in Iran.
I am sure that people who are answering these poll calls - in Iran - give their true opinion about WHATEVER is being asked. Afterall, the level of trust is very high in Iran nowadays, we all know that.

shuturk: Are you for real??
by vildemose on Wed Feb 09, 2011 08:34 AM PSTshuturk: Are you for real?? I doubt that you're Iranian..Thanks for the laugh.
I go with the guess of about 50%
by Escape on Wed Feb 09, 2011 08:30 AM PSTIts a safe guess.I think every guess is about equal to mine because who knows?
I have to consider some things when making mine.
1.Definately not every single person in Iran hates Khameni like some bloggers would insist (diligently) for you to believe. They show up and cheer.
2.Definately not every single person loves Khameni or they wouldn't be defecting and the execution rate would not be so high.
calling??
by rtayebi1 on Wed Feb 09, 2011 07:37 AM PSTif I was in IRan somebody calling me, I wouldn't dare to tell them the truth. Doesn't Sepah always brag about how they control all form of communications? this poll means nothing. what was the poll lets say 3 years before the revolution regarding Shah?
My pleasure
by Shutruk on Wed Feb 09, 2011 05:44 AM PST85% of Iranians inside Iran like Khamenei. Probably the reverse is true for those Iranians living outside of Iran.
Should it really surprise anyone?
by Parham on Wed Feb 09, 2011 04:47 AM PSTThanks for the report, very interesting!
