brainwashed by negative US/UK Soft Power and intentionally misrepresenting the late shah as a dictator and khomeini as ghandi, so this historic crime was later compounded by US Media in the US aims to thwart Irans development (why they brought mullahs) as well as anti-monarchists.

US Soft power has both negative and Poistive sides to it, for Americans and their lives it generally has a positive effect, however for people of other countries it generally doesn't recognize their human rights or justice for them and works hard at promoting injustice and lying that the USA supports democracy for others.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, you would have to be biased to not see the data indicating thwarting of progress and development and the support of extremism, regression, repression, poverty, corruption etc.  With the late Shahs team Iranians were far better off and it was disingenuous to villify him or his team and point to issues like corruption, poverty, regression, repression, torture, because in comparison to the West Iran was holding its own in these areas and constantly improving for the better.

Those lying for either the benefit of anti-monarchists or the benefit of negative soft power of the USA were never prepared to admit their real agenda and played innocent when they were not.  We still have some who can not look and celebrate the good work that was being done during this period and are not prepared to "stand up" for a Shah-han-shahi, infact some anti-monarchists would misrepresent the values of Irans culture, the culture of noble individuals, who wish to make this life a paradise and think good thoughts, say good words and do good actions, by saying I don't want to bow down for shah-han-shahi? even a shah wouldn't want that, stand up with dignity and serve the freedom, justice and equality of all people! 

Whether or not an iranian gets Iranian Culture or The Monarchy, they will have a vote and a say, and the people when they have the opportunity will decide this issue, free of manipulation and deceit.  On Democracy, it is not a republican or monarchist issue, both monarchies and republics exist with and with out democratic systems or societies.  For Both Democratic Monarchies and Democratic republics, they have left and right wings.  Democracy is a seperate issue to Monarchy or Republic and many monarchists in the present generation want to see the monarchy adhere to democracy also.  In reality the most democratic societies are monarchies.  //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index
