'Israel, criterion for US intervention'

Israeli advocates in the US dictate to the American government which freedom movements in the world to support and which ones to ignore, says a political analyst.

“Israeli lobby in America is definitely talking to Washington and helping the decisions about which populations are worth of the international intervention and which ones are not and which ones they are going to ignore,” Sarah Marusek made the comments in an interview with Press TV on Tuesday.

She reiterated that double standards can clearly be seen if one looks at the US position on Libya and compares it with what is going on in Bahrain and Yemen.

“It is absolutely ridiculous that this intervention can happen in Libya and at the same time not even a discussion happens about the ridiculous oppression that was happening and continues to happen in Bahrain as well as Yemen,” said Marusek.

Marusek also stated that Washington fears that any democracy movement in Bahrain will ultimately benefit Iran.

“I do not know what kind of benefit they see Iran having. Of course there will be increased cultural ties; increased potentially economic ties but why they think this is going to a sort of recreate a Persian empire, is beyond me,” she added.

She also pointed out that Western media always focus on al-Qaeda when it comes to Yemen and ignore the multitude of Yemenis protesting on the streets, demanding more freedom and greater economic opportunities.

These garbages has been repeated again and again during last 32 year of Turban dictatorship in Iran. it is getting old and Iranians became familiar with these none senses. Stinky mullahs and Islamic gang in Iran keep blaming U.S and Israel and at the same time they were robbing our country and killing our brothers and sisters in thousands. Just take a look this link.

some of these newly emerged Democracies in N. Africa are true Democracy or "slaved Democracies" benefiting the US/West/Zionists!

Let's not forget that all of these Democracy movements are in the countries with dictators that have been stunchly supported by the US for decades.

Of course one would be fool not to question the change of heart all of the sudden? What is in it for the US and others that they support "Democracies"? Most likely the same old with a new flashy package!

Time will tell!
