There is a serious and growing rift in Iran between Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president, and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader. Ahmadinejad has reportedly asked the Khamenei if he can resign. Al Jazeera's Dorsa Jabbari reports from Tehran.

I can see that AlJazeera only aired this news segment over the past 24 hours.  The "Sunday" there are talking about here is more than a week ago, actually. Since then, Ahmadinejad returned to work and a lot of other developments have happened, including an official end to the Moslehi debacle, and the commencement and completion of the Larijani episode, and Mahmoud's trip to Turkey and his television interview.
This is most peculiar of AlJazeera.

Curious to see what next!!!!

Either way, I doubt nor expect any meaningful change that will affect Iranians in any significant way, unless this result in a serious revolt towards VF, which is, in my opinion, the main obstacle towards betterment in Iran.
