Netanyahu is tempted to bomb Iran in the next several months to set back its opaque nuclear program and — despite a call from Obama last Thursday and messages from Defense Secretary Leon Panetta — has declined to reassure the United States that he will not. Several factors, Iranian and American, incline Netanyahu to move soon.

Obama clearly is signaling to Iran that he is not
by Disenchanted on Tue Jan 17, 2012 02:14 PM PSTin tune with the megalomaniac Netanyahu! Cancelling the joint excercise, condemning the assasination of Iranian scientist and leakage of Mossad agants posing as CIA in recruting Jondallah terrorists are all indications that Obama admin is distancing itself from Bibi's lunatic camp!
Lets hope barak keeps Bibi on a tight leash!
But My major concern however goes beyond Iran ...
by Darius Kadivar on Tue Jan 17, 2012 01:28 AM PSTI have a gut feeling that given threats of seeing the European Union dismantle and go totally bankrupt that the Western Powers in general wouldn't mind to see the entire Middle East turn into a War Zone which would allow them to sell arms to everyone. The Syrian situation could truly be an ideal pretext for them.
Turn it into some kind of Lebanon War which would go on for another 20 years would allow all the Arms dealers make their buck and boost the economies of all foreign powers involved while to poor middle easterners ( Iran included) would be drawn into an endless tunnel of uncertainty. These are testing times indeed and truly a Tug of War and a Test of Wills in this endless psychological warfare.
The Longer the Syrian regime remains in Power the deeper the uncertainty of this all and the unpredictability of the situation.
In addition as Odd as it may seem Something also tells me that the Israelis don't want the Syrian Regime to fall ...
These are Testing Times indeed
