Update: Death total 3, all due to torture, after their arrest...

Dear Divaneh: you are right, we can never say for sure the reason behind the recent events in khoozestaan due to regime preventing any reporters from visiting these sites. However, from what is begining to leak out, these demonstrations were caused by the regime agents attacking and arresting those individuals asking for the bycott of the upcoming so called "preseidential election" in Iran...

Have all these people been arrested for their opposition to the elections or a separation agenda? Is mid-April demonstration a remembrance of Sheikh Khazal? I have a feeling that those who are arrested are Arab separatists but that is not a justification for government's violence. When people are driven out of the decision making process and suffer discrimination, they support any cause to re-store their basic rights. All Iranian people must be given the equal rights to participate in its future.

Palestine is just an excuse. Those who kill Iranians with no qualms will kill Palestinians, as well. Palestinians know that well and don't even trust IR criminals. On more than one occasion, they have told IR criminals to mind their own business.

the problem.  We have so-called Iranians who live through and for one thing only: Palestine / Israel.  That's how they see the world and that's their ONLY concern.  Whatever happens to our people at the hands of the IRI is justified so long as their sole issue, Palestine, is the objective.  Here you are talking about crimes against Iranian Arabs and the person is talking about pro and anti-Israelis!!!  What does Israel has to do with this?!!!

These people are obsessed.  That's how the IRI thrives and survives.
