Cover story  Write for The Iranian Farideh Esfandi faidehesfandi@hotmail.com Esfandi studied arts and drama in Iran, taught arts, became a professional photographer and worked for Iranian television for 17 years. She started painting in the U.S, but memories of her childhood has been the main theme of her colorful paintings. My mother and grand mother were my art teachers. Their love for life touched my heart in a way that inspired my passion for painting. If my paintings can touch my daughter Nassim the same way, I will consider myself the greatest artist of all time."
