* Died in prison called Iran

Hamvatanan Aziz,

Thank you for your kind words in this difficult period and times. It sure helps the healing process. However I wish to correct one point.

My father, Col Rahim Pour-Nourbakhsh, did not die in a physical prison. He died in a prison that is called Iran. I am sorry for the miss understanding. I meant to say the prison that was build with collaboration between CIA, a FUBAR and ignorant American foreign policy that is still on going, a shah with no balls and a flea infested half breed exile in France. The prison that was build with the blood of millions of Iranian men and women over the last 25 years and it is still not finished building.

My father started dying the day he witnessed the senseless execution of his comrades. In some cases they deserved it and they paid for the killing of innocent people, but the blood thirsty mullahs could not stop there. They continued their savagery in many forms. The past is gone and we shall learn from it, but I do wish that someone had the courage to kill that roach khomeini. We would have never had all the pains and sufferings that evil uneducated half arab and half jen khomeini brought to Iran and the world. Evils like osama bin laden, sadam hussein, yasser arafat, hamas, hezbollah, taliban and on and on. My father was a brave soldier. His main goal was to serve his beloved Iran.

He was a devoted father and a loving human being. He never allowed a place in our house for shah's picture when he was in the army and he was not going to make an exception for Khomeini and his half breed clan. He was not going to take orders from some mullah with head lice. He resigned his command in 1979. That was the beginning of his slow and torturous mental and physical suffering. I never had a chance to see him again, but I will always remember him. Because of him that I am here and alive today. Because of him that I am free. I don't know what he looked like toward his end, but I always remember how handsome and gallant he looked with his uniform on.

I loved how he changed quickly to his pajamas as soon as he would get home and spend time with us. How he woke up before the roosters as he claimed. How wonderful he smelled. How many times did he claimed that he needed to shave 3 times a day! How he never grew a beard! How much he loved to laugh and laugh loud. You are not suppose to die when you are 66 years old. He had a lot of years ahead of him. Those basterds would not let him leave not even for medical treatment after his stroke. He yearned to see his only son again. To see his grand daughter.

We will meet again baba. You will hurt no more. I am not alone in this pain. There are many of us that are in the same situation. We shall over come. We have done it in the past and we will do it again. Let me just end in saying do not loose your hope. Victory belongs to us.

Javid Iran, Marg bar akhonds, Marg bar the coward pahlavi family. Dorood be Shahidan va ghahremaanaaneh Iran.

* Mysterious eyes, NOT bushy eyebrows

I do not know what you have been smoking or drinking but I tell you that either way you are tripping (as my teen-age son will say). [Eyebrow nation]

Only the sheltered men who've never seen girls outside their little neighborhood with its backward people who thought plucking eyebrows was a sin and think those ugly and bushy eyebrows were pretty.

For the record and thanks to my beautiful parents for giving me good genes not to have bushy eyebrows, I never had that problem and to this day I hear men and women tell me "you have the most beautiful brown eyes". Nobody has ever mentioned my eyebrows. I do not know whom you are talking to but all the intelligent, educated and attractive men and women refer to us as "very attractive or exotic" not "the girls with the eyebrows."

People like you make Iranians look stupid (well you obviously are one stupid dame). Iranian women (most of them anyway) have beautiful skin, beautiful high chick bones, and smile. The beautiful and mysterious eyes are their trademarks.

So Ms. Ghasemi please stop tripping and I am really disappointed that Mr. Javid let's such stupid and degrading piece about Iranian women be published. For your information I went to college in Iran and had classmates from all over the country and not once a man said, "please do not pluck your eyebrows.

You must lack pretty features and simply have the ugly " unibrow" and assume everyone else thinks that is beautiful. Trust me it is not.

* You are an American trader!

To Mr. who knows it all, [Bush v. Saddam?]

Don't expose your self, you really are showing to everyone that what an idiot Republican you are, by insulting Mr. Khorsandi .

You can disagree with his articles, but you have no right to insult an intellectual like him who has devoted his entire life for the love of Iran, unlike you!

You got insulted by him comparing your grand dady, Bush, with Saddam! How dares he? You would probaly are cheering for Bush to attack Iran as well!

You are not an Iranian, you are an American trader! Just stay here (US) and read the "NEW REPUBLIC". You don't even know your own name! Pejman! That's not your name!

* Thanks for making me love my Persian self

Iranian.com is truely one of the best sites i have ever seen. your music, and cultural section is the bomb.

Speaking of music... i somehow happend to arrive at the revolutionary songs page. and of course there was "iran iran", a truley hypnotic song which i hadn't heard in ages.

I have to admit that i still love it ( hmm... can you say " brain-washed"? well i am a '79er after all).

So... great site. i am loving my Persian self again, and you are helping lot.

Mehdi Khazand

p.s. do you rememeber "Hapali" yeah that's right "Hapali", that weird and funny super-sized bacteria. there was another charachter which i remember from those happy friday mornings, and "canal 2" children programs. From the the same show whose name i can't remember: Agha Shireh.

and there, you have your former singer of iran iran, Mr. Rouygary as agha shireh. this is the truth. Check it out!
