A few points about this blog

by ahosseini on

I received the contents of this blog from a reliable source. It is difficult to verify if the real names have been used. However I have come across strange real names in the past. I think the names do not matter. it is the content that matters and in this case the content is exceptionally good. I personally like petitions that call for everyone to sign. Some of these petitions are lunched by careerist trying to make name for themselves. It would be nice if we could turn the contents of this blog into a petition and ask everyone to sign. In fact it would be nice if we could translate the content to English and other languages and ask for as many people as possible to sign. Please help distributing this content if you can.

My own personal view is that, whatever analysis we have of US administration or European union (Imperialism, a democracy that relies on institutions like Wall Street, a real democracy) we cannot possibly adopt a policy of confrontation. If I were to choose between Mandela and Mugabe, I would definitely choose Mandela. If I was forced to choose between Khamenei and Khatami, I would choose Khatami(remember, his idea of dialogue amongst civilisation won recognition by Clinton administration). Unfortunately, in US and in Europe, the big financial institutions have far too much power in day to day running of these countries. A political lobby or party that has the confidence of institutions like Wall Street or City of London will have the financial backing of these institutions and will eventually win the election. However, we must not forget that people have the final say. I therefore conclude that it is vital that we are politicaly correct, polite, use words that are acceptable to the people and therefore adopt a policy that is acceptable to general public. There are sections of US administration that want war all the time and win billions of dollars out of war situations. We must not play into their hands. Needless to say that pan Islamists like IRI want war at all times.

Believe in a democracy that leaders and representatives are controlled by members at all times.

Add

by iraj khan on

the names of %97 Iranian Americans

who according to the latest poll,

are opposed to a war with Iran, lets say 970,000 of them.

Why not to add the names of 1 million Iranians and Iraqies who died and can't speak for themselves anymore.

Don't forget to add the names of hundreds of thousands who were injured and disabled,

and the millions who were turned into permanent refugees.

And also add my name, thanks.

WAR- a recipe to ultimate catastrophe ...

by Fatollah on

For Iranians that is!!!

what the hell, we/-(outside dwellers) won't be affected anyway.

I read somewhere some genius willing to sacrifice a cousin or two for the glory of "his" country ! and the piece  was called satire! the lunacy knows no boundary!

The majority of Iranians are in no doubt when it comes to the nature of IRI ? But, aksing for the motherland destroyed "literally" in hopes for the demise of Mollahs is another matter!

-Mr. ahosseini

prominent majority of Iranians are against any war, and even against sanctions.

Anahid Hojjati

I used to have a teacher

by Anahid Hojjati on

who was very popular with students and anti shah too. I had hard time  finding about what happened to this teacher. I saw this teacher's name on list of the signers of this letter. When I googled the teacher name and the present job, I found out other results, one  read:

first name last name (present job and Moaleme Ekhrajee). Shah did not ekhraj her even though this teacher was openly against shah but now after more than 35 years, this teacher holds on to ideas such as "Imperialism jahani be sarkardegi amrika' but what about those who caused her lose her job.  She was a great math teacher but she does not see one side of equation.  Any way, at least she was not executed.

Dear Faramarz:

Unfortunately, after thirty-three years we are still stuck with the same question as to who our real enemy is. Thanks for reading my comments.

For Whom the Sirens Toll!

Uncle G.,

You make a clear case about the situation in Iran and those who are responsible for the warmongering.

Thank You.

G. Rahmanian

Dear ahosseini:

by G. Rahmanian on

I'm afraid your question implies you agreed with me without fully understanding what I wrote. The schizophreniac symptom with regards to the "enemies" of Iran(please read Islam) that began right after the revolution and an "eminent war" displayed in such petitions demonstrates a lack of real understanding of the status quo on the part of its organizers. I would like to remind you here that I don't know the individuals who have produced or signed the petition in question and I am not implying I have any knowledge of their affiliation with any group or organization. The so-called, "eminent war" idea has been used for quite some time by regime's supporters and paid apologists to distract Iranianas' attention from the real issues and regime's warmongering policies. And as long as this regime is in place Iranians will be bombarded by propaganda with regards to fabricated imaginary enemies and an eminent war! If you were in Iran right after the revolution, you know who, according to the mullahs, the first "enemies" of Islam were. Initially, the slogan, "Neither East Nor West" was only an execuse to crack down on the "enemies" of Islam at home, including some of the Ayatollahs and the most pious Muslims. As to your direct question about my attitude to wars I have this to say: I have seen one already and it was ugly!

As I said, go sue RP! It's been done before. You try it, too!

Can I take it as you are all in favour of another full scale war imposed on our beloved country, but this time by US war mongers. Am I right?

Akhoond zadehs are far smarter than Reza.............they would know that they have to distance themselves from their fathers' wrongs..........it's very simple..............Reza is the crown prince of Iran (whether one insists upon his being an ex-prince or not is not the issue here)..........his whole public profile is based on the Pahlavi dynasty..............he can not only claim the credit while denying the liabilities of his family.............All he has to do is to publicly, and without an iota of preservation, announce the wrongs of his father..........that's all........and to be honest, that's leadership.............

G. Rahmanian

Dear ahosseini:

by G. Rahmanian on

Thanks for agreeing with me. And if there is any advice to be given when it comes to dealing with IR criminals is this: Shotoreto seft beband, hamsaayato dozd nakhoon! Our camel is on the run. Let's put a tight leash on it and see how quickly Iran's "enemies" will vanish into the thin air!

Why, instead of wasting your precious time here on this site, don't you go after RP? Why don't you sue him? By the way, are you suggesting that if things change, Iranians should go after every IR official's child, grandchild, great grandchild, so on and so forth? Shame on you. You ARE a hypocrite!

Dear Rahmanian

by ahosseini on

Why are you being so unreasonable?

What is wrong with the statement signed by these brave people in Iran?

I said I agree with all the points and in addition to that we oppose with all the warmongers. Is there a problem with that. I wonder who would pay me to agree with all your points and opposing warmongers in US. Could you please tell us where we go to apply for this fund? IRI pays for its lobbies and US  war mongers for their lobbies. I don't know where to go to apply for funds opposing both. Please advise.

Allowing your masters to kill Iranians and pillage the state's coffers, so you can live happily ever after on the monthly handouts! Be ambitious old lady! Ask for a bit more than little bits of handouts. And you know how I can tell you're living off handouts? Your staunchness in defending your criminal masters betrays you!

Asking the corrupt Pahlavis to stand accountable for what has become of our beloved homeland because of what they did, and how they abused their power is not as cursed as it might appear.

G. Rahmanian

Dear ahosseini!

by G. Rahmanian on

The first questions I always ask myself are: What the hell am I doing on this site? Why are millions of Iranians living in exile? Why was there a revolution? Why did the Islamist revolutionaries go after every decent Iranian? Why was there a war? Why did we have to lose so many dear ones so a bunch of murderers could stay in power? Why are, after 33 years, Islamist murderers still ruling my country? Who is number one enemy of Iran and Iranians? Who are the real warmongers when it comes to Iran? Why are 70 million Iranians being held hostage to the ambitions of the warmongers who want to export their revolution? Who are the real fearmongers? Who has turned Iran into a hellhole for Iranians back home? And by the time I'm done answering these and many other questions, I'm so exhausted I don't want to think about Iran's imaginary enemies fabricated by regime's propaganda apparatus! P.S. The magical number 12 is the number plagiarized by the Shi'ite sectarians of Islam.

vildemose

 Here is my

by vildemose on

 Here is my take:

IRI Not Iran will never surrender its nuclear program after watching what happened to Gahdaffi (persian spelling)  abandoneding his.  Simply the single  strategy that will guarantee IRI from not being toppled from within is by developing nuclear weapons. Developing nuclear weapons is to minimize the success of any popular uprising against the regime. It is not to attack Israel or using its weapons against its neighbors as it might have been in the past.  With developing nuclear weapons/capability the regime safeguards that no external powers (NATO,etc)  can assist the impending revolution into its successful conclusion.  Since IRI goons and beneficiaries know they can suppress any uprising on their own. Why? They know that they won’t hesitate to kill half of the population to preserve their power and their monopoly on wealth and greed. The regime will never enter into any meaningful negotiation to stop its nuclear program.  It would be suicidal if they did not develop their nuclear program at this point in the game.

A state of war only serves as an excuse for domestic tyranny.--Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

Dear G. Ramanian

by ahosseini on

I agree with every point mentioned. I don't know what magical number 12  is. I hope you agree with those who signed this petition that there are others in the world who make billions out of war situation. War is blessing for all the war mongers, those who want to represent god on earth and do away with being accountable to people in a real democracy. I read somewhere that Dick Chenny increased his personal wealth by 3000% after invading Iraq.

Believe in a democracy that leaders and representatives are controlled by members at all times.

G. Rahmanian

G. Rahmanian

1. Those mullahs and their goons who interfered in Iraq's internal affairs right after the failed revolution of '79 and openly called on Iraqis to overthrow Saddam. 2. Those who continued the war with Iraq for eight long years. 3. Those who were/are talking about liberating Jerusalem. 4. Those who are dreaming of exporting their revolution. 5. Those mullahs and their goons who want to manage the world. 6. Those IR officials who have been talking about and trying to acquire nuclear weapons for decades. 7. Those IR leaders who want to wipe another sovereign state off the face of the earth! 8. Those IR mullahs and goons who have financed and orchestrated countless terrorist acts throughout the world against Iranians and foreigners. 9. Those who have forced millions of Iranians into exile. 10. Those who attack foreign embassies instead of simply telling foreign diplomats to leave. 11. Those whose hostage-taking habits never seem to die. 12. Please sign!!! P. S. I was kind of worried I wouldn't get to the magical number "12."
