Where is Marge........... That sharp tongued blue haired woman?

There are less  than a handful  hardball contributors, particularly of woman persuasion, that bring a brass ball comments to the otherwise testosterone[Persian type] filled forum also known as Iranian.com.

Come back.

Mr. Kadivar said it best

by capt_ayhab on

Even though the gentleman knows that I am opposed to monarchy, he also knows that I respect him for his true love of Iran.

They are making us feel as minority here and elsewhere. I have most of my siblings living in Iran plus my elderly mother. They have already seen one long, bloody and devastating war imposed on them.

What did I do for them in particular and nation as a whole? Jack shit[Pardon the french] But this time around I am not going to shut up. This time around least I could do for the nation who has been suffering for 31 long years is to be their voice and I do not care what happens to my own psyche in the process.

Please understand me beautiful lady, I am not telling you what to do , but if we, in comfort of our secure lives abroad can not bare the small hardship of seeing the misery and helping them to be heard who else would? Fred's????? IMF's???? WHO???

You're right Captain

Believe me, I understand what you and MeyBokhor_Manbarbesuzan say, and I agree.

However, when I say it depresses me, I am serious. Seeing Iran from the outside with all these BS lenses of exiled Iranians and other American morons like Liz Cheney and Michael Bolton (lol not the soft rock singer) just makes me sad. I don't live in Iran, but I am very attached to it emotionally. We all are. I just don't understand why some people don't want to protect it from outsiders. They have enough trouble to handle within Iran without these clowns interfering.

Dear Marge

[Since 2006, I have been expecting war with Iran. I avoid this site when I notice threats peaking. It's too depressing, especially when there are users here to welcome it. ]

Do you not think that in times like these, any of us who do not want to see war or starvation on the nation of 75 million need to do our share, as insignificant[no pun intended] and as small as it may be?

But Dear Marge

by MeyBokhor_Manbarbesuzan on

This is a method to dissuade mainstream Iranians from participating in discussion forums to give the appearance that pro-war Iranians are the majority. What you are encountering is often an organized campaign. Just look at the number of members of this site prior to the elections of last year and now and count the new members.

Waiting in the wings.....

Every day I wake up and think "is it today?" This is crazy to some people here, maybe. However, this really bothers me and the Iran news blitzes really upset me, especially when they're loaded with MSG and BS.

Since 2006, I have been expecting war with Iran. I avoid this site when I notice threats peaking. It's too depressing, especially when there are users here to welcome it.

Thanks for asking about me and complimenting.
