Simin Behbahani's Nowruz message, the doyenne of living Iranian poets (who is not permitted to have a passport and leave Iran), to Persian literature lovers in Los Angeles. President Obama,quoted her in his Nowruz Message for Nowruz 1390 (20 March 2011) quotes a line of her poetry (in English translation, of course).
