Larry Kings interviews Michelle Obama
by Pro Obama (not verified) on Wed Feb 13, 2008 06:46 AM PSTNot to take anything away from Barack Obama, but I believe Michelle Obama is even a better candidate. I have watched several of her speeches and she is very intelegent, well spoken, well informed and full of dignity. I wished them victory. I've voted for him and will do it in general elction.
Re: David
by jamshid on Wed Feb 13, 2008 03:53 AM PSTPerhaps you are right. But then perhaps you are wrong! Unless all three eventually get a chance at the presidency's helm, we will never know for sure what they are. I think this much we can agree on.
Dear Jamshid
by David ET on Wed Feb 13, 2008 02:20 AM PSTThank you for the info but one of the three will be the next president of the most powerful country of the world (we like it or not).
So pick the best of the three (or go with whatever is picked). Those are the ONLY choices and that is THE REALITY.
I remember Carter, I know what McCain represents and I know what Hillary will do, and still prefer Obama !
Re: David
by jamshid on Wed Feb 13, 2008 02:14 AM PSTIt seems that you like Obama as the next US president. I just want to remind you of one little secret (known by most people, but amazingly still not known by a few).
McCain, Bush, Clinton, Obama, etc, are two different sides of the same coin. They had to go through years and years of "service", "proving" themselves to the powers that be, and to the system with all its goods and bads.
Occasionally there comes a goof ball like Carter. Remember Carter? Many, in the previous generation, advertised him as "different", as many are advertising the same for Obama today. Well, we did see the difference. Obama is the same than that goofy Carter, if not worst.
If it walks like a duck and if it quacks like a duck, then it must be a duck!
P.S. Do you read pro-IRI publications? I always do, and recommend everyone else to do as well. It gives you insight into what the mullahs are thinking... Which brings me to one question: Have you wondered why the mullahs are licking their chops with every passing moment that gets Obama closer and closer to presidency?
Just a little food for thought.
Go Obama!
by hope obama wins! (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 05:11 PM PSTI hope that he makes it all the way to the end - "White Man Only" mentality got to go!
None is not on the ballot
by David ET on Tue Feb 12, 2008 03:51 PM PSTDear Ben
True that we have the right not to vote for a president but NONE can not become a president, but one of those three will.
What I am trying to say is that NONE is not on the ballot and trying to convince others not to vote for anyone means boycotting elections which will not happen .
Arguing Obama is not good, will help Hillary at this time an dif Obama wins will help McCain, so we are making a choice !
So realistically ONE will be the president and we either chose one of the three who will be chosen for us :-)
I always opt for better
by Dreamer (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 03:50 PM PSTI always opt for better choice:
McCain is a lunatic.
Hillary is polorizing.
Obama is the best candidate.
Re:
by Ben Madadi on Tue Feb 12, 2008 01:54 PM PSTI'm okay with Obama and I think he is a very decent guy. But I don't think he's got what it needs. So, if I had the vote I would probably go for none (that's a choice too), or McCain or Clinton.
to: hello
by David ET on Tue Feb 12, 2008 01:15 PM PSTI see three choices: McCain, Hillary and Obama
and I see Obama as the better choice of the three
who do you want to be the next president of US. I promise there will be one and we can't deny that!
Those who think Obama is not the better choice, should present which other two candidates are better and why. What I see here are a few who say why dont like Obama but they dont say who they support and why. It is not up to me to do their job for them.
and there are those who no metter what one says, they oppose it and that is all they care about : objections without any alternatives!
I have seen what McCains and Hillary stand (or do not stand) for and do not like it and last i checked there are no other petential choices left.
Obama is great
by Joe L. on Tue Feb 12, 2008 01:04 PM PSTHope that all my Iranian brothers vote this great man Obama. He will bring respect back to America
A comment!
by hello (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 12:43 PM PSTYou are promoting one dimensional view.
Honestly that is not good. Why don’t you talk about Bill Maher’s appearance in Larry Kings show few nights ago, and his opinion about Obama? A lot of Iranians like Bill Maher and his view since he has a decent and sincere judgment towards politics.
with a little luck
by MRX1 (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 11:54 AM PSTa year from now, every one has forgotten about obama and we all can go back to our normal life. This fakeollah, creation of media already had his 15 minutes of fame. time for him to depart soon.
