As much as I hate to see innocent civilian Iranians get hurt by anyone for any reason, an attack on Iran's nuclear sites by Israel is inevitable. It's not a matter of if, just when.
Some say it will be done in the next 2-3 weeks, during the time when its neither officially a Bush term nor an Obama term. Who knows. All I know is that if you think with the economic conditions of today anyone gives a crap about Iran or Israel (other than Iranians and Jews) you are mistaken.
Since I don't have too many relatives left in Iran, I don't have a horse in this race. But for those of you who do, I think its time to restart letter writing campaigns to your elected representatives, senators and even's Obama's office and ask them to stop Israeli action.

With all your brain-washed attitude, can you then explain why Zio-Nazis lost the summer 2006 war in spite of all those CALCULATIONS that they usually make in these circumstances?
My point is that Iran has recourse, and has much stronger response than some think. Israelis (the so called "chosen people") have lost the twenty first century race toawards humanity. Look at Gaza and conclude for yourself. The best they can do is to fly F-x fighters donated to them by the US of A and bomb defenseless population of Gaza. If this not genocide I don't know what it is. You certainly cannot call it "war crimes" since defenseless Palestinians have nothing to fight with, and thank to Zio-Nazis, not even bread to feed their children!
In the summer 2006 thanks to Iran's insight and smarts, Lebanese fought those rsacals the way real "men" fight and sent their dead young "soldiers" to hell. and the rest is history!

by Mehdi Mazloom on Sun Dec 07, 2008 01:07 PM PSTIsraelis did not get to where they are today because they are stupid. You can bet your farm that, their leaders have taken Hizbollah and Iran's missile attacks into their plan. And what do you think Israelis will respond with. Everything they have. and they have much more then you thinkl
Otherwise, who convinced you that, only solution for the "Akhoodah" problem is brute military force.
Israelis (along with the rest of the western countries) will (and are) use their heads to remove the the kassife' from the back of the oppressed Iranian people, and set them free. Just look at the dropping oil prices to get the clear hind where the real battle ground is being conducted.
How long do you think, these 7th century ideiots in Tehran will hold on to power when the generous subsidies are cut from the people.
As everyone knows it by now, the Mullahs in Iran will not be toppled by the guns of the Israelis, nor the American. It will be done by the brave Iranian people themselves, who by now have realized the terrible mistake they had made back in April 1979, when they were mislead and lied to by Khomeini, and allowed him to come back to Iran. The Iranian Students will mop these thugs from the corridors of decency and human right. Replace them with secular and democratically elected official.
Basse', khallaas, Islam had failed the brave and industrious Iran. It is time for this cult to be removed from people's lives. Let Iran go back to its glory days of Cyrus the great, and other great leaders of ancient Persia.
Just in past 30 years, Iran has been reduced to a rogue and supporter of fanatic religious terrorists center, lead by 7th century barbaric group. It is shunned and vilified by the rest of the world, becasue of the action of its leaders who had forced themselves upon the Iranain people.
Let Iran re-join the great civiliazation as it once was. A respected member of world community of today. Be a suoper power of knowledge and center of peace, democracy and human rights.
An Attack on Iran --> End of Israel
by babababai22 (not verified) on Sat Dec 06, 2008 02:27 PM PSTHere is why:
Suppose Israel attacks Iran's nuke sites. Mollahs will cry and scream, but really they haven't lost anything. In a matter of days perhaps a week at most, Iranian long range missiles will rain over the Demond nuke site in Israel. At the same time, Hezbollh missiles supplied by Iran will hit the same site to finish the job as well as hit many Israelie cities and towns, food and water supplies. Just hitting the Israeli nuke site is the end of that regime, let alone hitting their town, water supplies, and food storages.. Count my words if the scenario did not play that way in case of Zio-Nazi attack on Iran....

keeps america at long-term dependency
by no_name (not verified) on Sat Dec 06, 2008 06:53 AM PSTAt price of oil this low. There will be a reduction of investment in renewable energy again. At the hard economical time, the green job revolution would have made sense as a way of helping the economy.
But with the price this low, they would have a hard time making the case over the typical quick band-aid solutions.
Endgame => continuous dependent on oil and support for Saudi Regime.
$45/barrel?
by Killjoy (not verified) on Sat Dec 06, 2008 05:14 AM PSTNo, Sir! $45/barrel is ancient history. The price of oil went down to $42/barrel level at some point yesterday and now it stands at $43.80. Hopefully it will go bellow $40/barrel some time next week.
It has been great for me personally and I don't give a damn if the mullaahs are hurting because of the lower oil prices.
I don't need any history lessons my friend

Hey American Wife
by nitemustfall on Fri Dec 05, 2008 06:27 PM PSTThis "american wife" must be either a Jewish decent or another Bush's idiot follower. What you saying is total nonsense. This is Israel that has suffered??? Get real.
Maybe you need to get educated before thrwoing nonsense on this Site:
Here are a few facts about Israel:
Which country in the Middle East actually possesses nuclear weapons?
Israel.
Which country in the Middle East refuses to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty?
Israel.
Which country in the Middle East refuses to allow international inspections of its nuclear facilities?
Israel.
Which countries in the Middle East have called for the region to be a nuclear-free zone?
The Arab countries and Iran.
Which country in the Middle East occupies land belonging to other people?
Israel, which occupies a piece of Lebanon, a larger piece of Syria, East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza.
Which country in the Middle East has for 60 years refused to allow refugees to return to their homes and refused to consider compensation to them for their lost property?
Israel.
Which country has roads on which citizens who are Arab may not drive and housing developments where Arabs may not live?
Israel.
Which country in the region has violated more United Nations resolutions than any other?
Israel. The United States has on more than one occasion gone to war ostensibly to enforce U.N. Security Council resolutions, but when it comes to resolutions directed against Israel, the U.S. is like the amoral monkey that sees, hears and says nothing. That raises the question of who's the dog and who's the tail?
Which country in the region has in the past been led by men who at one time were terrorists with a price on their heads?
Israel. Former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir once led the Stern Gang and ordered, among other things, the assassination of Count Folke Bernadotte, a Swedish diplomat working for the United Nations. Former Prime Minister Menachem Begin led the Irgun, a terrorist gang that among other things blew up one wing of the King David Hotel, killing nearly 100 people.
Which country in the Middle East openly employs assassination against its political enemies?
Israel. There have been assassinations carried out by some of the Arab governments, but they usually don't own up to them. Israel has created a euphemism that the suck-up American press has readily adopted: "targeted killings." A British journalist told me once, "The Palestinians have a talent for picking bad leaders, and the Israelis have a talent for murdering their good ones."
What are the top five countries from which we import oil?
Here they are in order of volume: Canada, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Nigeria and Venezuela. The next time you hear some blowhard politician ranting about how the Arabs control our oil imports, remind him or her of the facts. By far, a majority of oil imports come from non-Arab countries.
Which country in the region receives an annual gift of $3 billion or more from Congress?
Israel.
Which foreign-aid recipient is the only one allowed to receive its aid in a lump sum and which routinely invests part of it in U.S. Treasuries so that taxpayers pay them interest on the taxpayers' gift?
Israel.
Which country in the Middle East has the most powerful lobby in the U.S.?
Israel.
Which country in the Middle East are most American politicians, journalists and academics afraid to criticize?
Israel.
On behalf of which country has the U.S. vetoed the largest number of U.N. Security Council resolutions?
Israel.
What country do the people in the region consider the world's biggest hypocrite?
The United States.
Which countries in the Middle East have attacked U.S. ships in international waters?
Iraq and Israel. A lone Iraqi plane fired one missile at a U.S. ship by mistake. The Iraqi government quickly compensated the U.S. In 1967, Israeli airplanes and torpedo boats attacked the USS Liberty, killing 34 Americans. The U.S. government declared it an accident even before the ship limped into port, and to this day Congress has never held a public hearing and allowed the survivors to tell their story. Their story, by the way, is that the attack was deliberate. Israel compensated the families of those who were killed, but resisted for years paying compensation for the ship.
America wife- you like many other Americans need to understand the basics. I suggest history 101, if you know what i mean.

Interest is in long term control of oil
by Kokab khanoom (not verified) on Fri Dec 05, 2008 03:38 PM PSTWhy do you think U.S. attacked Iraq? For freedom and democracy? Common! Grow up. Its all about strategic planning.
Oil is the most precious commodity on earth at the moment and until there is a replacement, it'll remain that way.
When gas was $5 a gal here and $9/gal in France and early as 3 months ago, an attack on Iran which could push gas to $10/gal in U.S. would have been unthinkable. At $1.5/gal, its a different story.
#1, no company is going to get funding for real alternative energy R&D. All the talk about solar and bio diesel is now history. It doesn't make economic sense short term and therefore there will be no hurry to do anything soon.
Even if there is a war and gas shoots up 100%, $4/gal is not shocking anymore.
I agree with Fateh. If there was ever a good time for a strike, its now.
Peace.
Attack and Eradicate!!
by IRI hater (not verified) on Fri Dec 05, 2008 03:36 PM PSTIsrael has suffered enough at the hands of the islamist terrorists of IRI. It should attack and eradicate them, their supporters and their proxies!!!
i agree with abarmard
by American Wife on Fri Dec 05, 2008 02:35 PM PSTI am curious as to who "some say" actually is. It goes beyond reason to think that the US has any interest in ANY kind of attack on Iran. There is no advantage whatsoever. The public will not support it. It's absurd to think that Obama is going to add to the woes he is inheriting come January. How many times must he state this before the rumors stop! Even the Clinton rumors have been mis-stated. Her reply has always been that IF Iran attacks Israel, the US would assert herself. She has NOT advocated war or attacks on Iran, ever.
I do not see it that way
by Abarmard on Fri Dec 05, 2008 02:09 PM PSTIsrael has the issue of size and population, Hezbullah and many other variables that makes it foolish to attack the giant Iran. I do not see the United States allowing Israel to do so either, and Israel can not go to a real war without the United States approval.
The chances are always there, but not likely.
Military Attack is not the solution
by Amir Nasiri (not verified) on Fri Dec 05, 2008 01:59 PM PSTOnly the innocent will be hurt and that is the Iranian people.
A military attack, it will empower the government much more and solidify their bases. It will mobilize the people even the ones who oppose the IRI regime and nourish the nationalist movement.
Any military strike against Iran is a support for IRI regime.
By the way those nuclear site are worthless.
Only people movement and people choice will succumb the IRI regime.
