Rahm's wife doesn't want him to take the job

She hates washington and last time Rahm was in DC he had a lot of emotional problems and the job means 15 hour work days. They have 3 kids. I wonder if he'll agree with his wife and stay in Chicago.

I agree with Marge.  Who cares if Rahm is Chief of Staff.  Why are Iranians so preoccupied with Israel?  Who cares if a rabbi becomes Secretary of State.  Israel has no bearing on Iran or the US.  If the Iranians or so concerned about the Palestinians than put up or shut up.  Open the Iranian borders and give them assylum.  I love how anti Arab some people on this site are and yet so pro Palestinian.  Yet last I remembered Palestinians aren't Scandinavian there ARAB.

And yes Faramarz to answer your question.  I'm willing to donate to this cause.  Can I be the first to strip Cheney down and place him on top of a naked human pyramid?

Israeli lobby has landed in the middle of the Obama's White

house. I used to be a happy go lucky guy and naive like the rest of you guys. I'm a little older now and a little bit wiser, I hope. I voted for Obama, I jumped up when they announce he won but I can't run away from the facts and the fact is Israeli Lobby has landed in the middle of white house and at the most powerful position after the president and vice president meaning "The Chief of Staff". God help us and the people of Middle East.
PS. Do Google search of Mr Emanuel don't forget to add "Israel's Lobby".

Rahm Emmanuel IS DA BOMB DIGGITY

He is one of my favorite members of Congress. He once read a love letter to the oil companies' lobbyists signed by the Republican party. He cut off tax dollars from going to Cheney who will probably eat your pet kitten if you leave it near him too long.

He won the elections for the Democrats in 2006 by sticking to a message and proving why the REpublicans are failures and the Dems can do better.

I don't really have a problem with him. As for all the bitching and moaning about him being a Jew and AIPAC - puleez AIPAC can take a hike. The economy is the first priority and Israel, if they really are a decent loving ally will back the fudge off. We have to fix this country and scale back in Iraq except maybe the Kurdish region where Turkey is waiting to attack and kill and rape. We only succeeded there anyway, so let's protect it.

This is going to be such an awesome cabinet! I wonder who will take Obama's senate seat? and Emmanuels house seat?

Emanuel is a respected member of the party and I don't like it when people are scared of others based on their skin color, religion or even having palled around with questionable people.  ;-)
