The following is my list of who needs to go to jail for creating the financial mess we are in:
1) G. W. Bush
2) Dick Cheney
3) Don Rumsfeld
4) Paul Wulfowitz, Ron Pearl, William Kristol, Dan and Bob Kagan, Lewis Libby, Dick Armitage
5) Hank Paulson
6) Phil Gramm, Bill Frist
7) CEOs of top 10 brokerage houses on wall street
8) CEOs of top 10 banks in the U.S.
9) CEO of top 10 investment banks on wall street
Less than 50 people, through their actions, have F'd several billion. They must pay for their crimes. There are others in the U.K. and elsewhere who have done their share. Please feel free to add to the list.

by MRX1 on Wed Jan 14, 2009 11:33 AM PSTcause in reality no one is going to jail. system is corrupt to the bone. one washes the other one's back. don't except change we believe in is going to do anything. he is part of same circle....
Re: Iran doesn't concern me
by Anonymousx (not verified) on Wed Jan 14, 2009 11:01 AM PSTNow we know why iran is where it is: both islamists and secularists believe in the same "Iran doesn't concern me" mantra.
But stranger thing is that the same islamists and secularists are so concerned and passionate about palestine/esraeel one way or the other.
well said Mr. Fateh
by mahmoudg on Wed Jan 14, 2009 10:26 AM PSTI agree with your assessment and also that Israel has every right to defend its National sovereignty against the hord of backwward and terrorists in the Arab world. Unfortunatley the Iranian leadership is also among them and have to be cleansed.
Iran doesn't concern me
by Faramarz_Fateh on Wed Jan 14, 2009 07:49 AM PSTI have lived in the U.S. for 36 close to 37 years. Iran does not concern me other than the fact every time is a conflict between U.S. and Iran I become "choobe dosar be goh".
If it was up to me, I'd eliminate ALL upper members of Iranian government in addition to ALL mullahs. Starting with Khamenei and Ahmadinejad and going down the list until every single "rohani" is 6 feet under the ground.
Stranger things have happened. Putting G.W. Bush in jail CAN be done. Will of the poeple can do anything in the U.S.
As for Israel, I support their actions 110%. They are fighting for their very existance. As long as there are over a billion Muslims in the world and at least 50% of them hate Israel for no reason, I'll support them bombing any and all Arab countries.
List

really?!
by hendooneh on Tue Jan 13, 2009 06:36 PM PSTwhat a ridiculous post....pass over whatever you're smoking faramarz
Faramarz. What do you smoke?
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Tue Jan 13, 2009 05:05 PM PSTSome of you people. What the hell did you think Wall Street was? You fools. I really mean it. It's ALL a Ponzi scheme. And when your uncles and cousins get in, they ask you to get in, and we all drown together. I have NO sympathy for these types. I'm sorry for people who lost their retirement, but SAve god damn it. Save. Cash. Don't go to Las Vegas. Don't go to Miami. You won't die. The economy will be fine.
What i'm saying is nonsense of course, because the world RUNS on America and this MONOPOLY money. (I can hear Kaveh running toward me into this thread right now). China and others depend on this system, and I'm sure it'll continue. As soon as the markets "unfreeze" go to town. Do it again and again.
When the bail out happened, was that enough evidence for you that the government of the wonderful fantastic USA was saying "KEEP DOING WHAT YOU WERE DOING!"
Yes. Keep loaning money to buy cheap shit from China. Keep making people go into debt so they work crappy jobs, or 3 of them!
I think they should go to jail, but not for this. Rumsfeld, who knew, a business exec pal of Double You Bush got to head the military. WOW! Amrika is crazy.
A few more
by Sybil (not verified) on Tue Jan 13, 2009 04:49 PM PSTSince you permitted the inclusion of international collaborators in this list, I definitely add Tony ("the poodle") Blair and, of course, the Israeli thugs (leaders)- the only beneficiaries and architectures of the Iraq war.
Never mind them; how about us?
by Anonymousx (not verified) on Tue Jan 13, 2009 03:37 PM PSTWell at least americans have the ability and wisdom to take an alternate route when flood subsided and they saw who was swimming naked.
But what about us? Can you make a listing of all those traitors of last 30 years, who looted iran, murdered iranians, and humiliated iranian culture, and are still riding high with their daily routines of oppression and deceit.
How about execution?
by Zion on Tue Jan 13, 2009 02:39 PM PSTYou sure jail is "enough"?
i think that americans are
by Anonymous fishie (not verified) on Tue Jan 13, 2009 02:01 PM PSTfully aware of what "revolution" means. haven't you heard of the American Revolution when americans finally said "enough is enough" and broke free of british rule. i don't think iranians need speak of revolution to americans.
which is not to say that the last 8 years haven't been a complete screw up. on that we would agree. just keep comments a little more "real" my friend.
More is needed!
by Kurush (not verified) on Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:26 PM PSTThe true fullfilment of justice is in the hands of the American people who are...well, for the lack of a better word, comatose. The revolutionary character is missing in the American psyche. Americans get to know the meaning of the word revolution in such phrases as 'revolutionary' shaving foam, 'revolutionary' toothpaste. It is a very confusing notion for them. But if there were true revolution in America, yes, all these corrupt criminals, some for war crimes, would be brought to justice.
