From couple comments, I get th eimpression that some would have preferred if more members and even people who had any sympathy would have been killed or at least tortured rather than responding to their articles and comments or god forbid writing poetry. Wouldn't that have been more convenient for some?

آقای فرد حرف درستی‌ میزنه اینجا. من با وجود مخالفت شدید با سیاست‌های رهبران حزب توده، به خصوص پشتیبانی از خمینی جلاد و آدمکش، عامل و دست نشانده  امپریالیسم انگلستان و آمریکا،  حساب تقریبا تمام  اعضای این حزب رو  از رهبریت حزب جدا میدونم.

دوستان، شما تعجب نمیکنید که با وجود اعدام شدن صد‌ها عضو حزب توده توسط رژیم منفور و فاشیست اسلامی، یک نفر میاد اینجا و "جانفشانی" اعضای حزب توده را زیر سوال میبره؟!!!

I did not get the part of torture that all activists went through in Islamic courts and prisons while you were writing poetry in Oregon.

More Than Just Few Mistakes I Would Say

Anahid, First, the Tudeh party called for giving away Caspian oil to the Russians. Then, they betrayed Mossadaq as you pointed the reference. When the time got rough and tough, the party went to a 25 year coma. After the revolution, they called Khomeini ’e gov an anti-imperialist (I guess they judged stupid and ugly Khomeini was like Che), and supported the Islamic regime until the regime forced Tudeh leadership to become scholars of Islam (the shitty religion that most Iranians hate). Not to mention, the party instructed its sympathizers to reveal information about other activists especially MKO/PMOI sympathizers to Islamic regime. Even Kianouri told one of his cell mates in Evin prison” we kissed the dog’s feet not to bite us, but finally we got bitten too.” Could you please name me a supposedly progressive political party that has worse record than Tudeh party?

Those against Tudeh, usually contradict each other

Finally you found a blog that IRI crminals that you write about would love. Not worth explaining on this thread everything, and not everything was right. Show me a political organiztion that did not commit major errors in judgement in Iran in those years.

People who bash Tudeh usually contradict each other, and if someone is intelligent, some truth can be found in middle of these contradictions. Some say why Tudeh did not fight 28 Mordad more vigorously (meaning why more Tudeh members were not fighting Shah, so more ordinary members could join Afsarane Tudeh and get executed so in future they could have been called khaen) . Others write that 28 Mordad was not even a "kodeta". What is it? If it was not Kodeta, why Tudeh party should have fought it harder? just for your pleasure so more members could be dead and still get insulted.
