Not a colony, but an sphere of influence

That is what Iran has become, a third world type of sphere of influence, for at least the last 100 year of our history. The fact Shah pahlavi was placed in power by US, does not change that. Iran before Revolution was an sphere of influence of USA, now an sphere of influence of Russia. This old mindset of defining Iran as a "colony of USA", is precisely the kind of mindset which allowed Khomeini, with his fascistic, ultra nationalistic, xnephobic  interpretation of shiat islam to take control of the very just uprising of the Iranian people againsts pahlavi's corrupt, dictatorial regime.

 Iranian issues now and under pahlavis had always been internal; the issue of a Relatively small number of Iranains exploiting and controlling  the vast majority of Iranians. Any external dimensions are merely the reflection of a global system based on exploitation of majority by a tiny minority. This obsession with terminology and ideology, instead of solid grasp of the real world, amongst Iran's intellectuals is precisely why every so often they  get shocked by the uprising of the masses, and spend the next few decades debating why they did what they did, until the next uprising catches them by surprise again...

لغات معنی خاص خود را دارند. برای مثال وقتی راوی میگوید آن بانو گفت … شنونده میداند که گوینده یک زن بوده و اگر عکسی از آن گوینده را ببیند و بجای تصویر یک زن، عکس یک مرد باشد فوراً میفهمد که راوی تفاوت مرد و زن را نمیداند.

اینکه دولت ملی شادروان مصدق به تحریک انگلستان توسط  دولت وقت  آمریکا ساقط شد و شد آنچه که شد و عواقب آن هم اکنون گریبان نه تنها ایران و منطقه، بل، خود ساقط کنندگان را به انحای مختلف گرفته جزئی از تاریخ غیر قابل انکار است. ولیکن اینکه گفته شود ایران "زیر استعمار آمریکا" بود؛ با معنای  "استعمار" خوانایی ندارد.

در ایندست لقلقه زبانی از نوع شارلاتان علی شریعتی؛  معنی متداول  لغات  مستلزم تعریف جدید میباشند.

نمونه دیگری که آورده شد راجع به فرمایش ایشان در مورد "آزادی سیاسی و آزادی بیان" بیشتر پس از انقلاب خوش عاقبت است؛ که مسلماً وجود هزاران هزار ایرانی در بند به جرم بیان عقیده  با این معنی نوین بانو عبادی از" آزادی بیان بیشتر" در تضاد است.

Re neo-colonialism

I totally agree with RostamZ. Just because some of us have emotional attatchments to the previous regime, it does not mean that its strings weren't pulled by Uncle Sam! Call it a coup or "national uprising," Shah was re-installed and handled to the very end by his American masters, and when general Hoiser decided that the army should stand down, it did! Come to think of it, although the Chinese have been key enablers of IRI in committing post-election crimes, they have not even interfered as directly as the U.S. has before, during or after the 28 Mordad 1953!

Ebadi is not owned by anyone. That is why she is respected by independant entities around the world. Perhaps it's time to accept or at least respect people and their opinions for what they are, even if not approved by us! Perhaps only then we could reach the maturity and consensus that takes to salvage our nation!

Why Call Ebadi banoo?

I have come to the conclusion that listening to Shirin Ebadi is like watching a Lesbian stripper. It's certainly interesting to watch, but somehow, somewhere along the way, you get this feeling that the show being put on is just another show, and she's not actually into you.

To be fair Shirin Ebadi is likely being threatened with her life and her family's. Anyone has the right to be afraid of that. But what she has not yet realized, is that her only real single job is to go to Iran's Selma and march to Montgomery.

Anything else is simply pointless, and a daily waste of fast-slipping time.

And the Dalai Llama be Damned! What a sell out he has become!

What happened? When these 2 signed the Nobel decree, did they sign away their souls too?

۴. برای شخصیتی که بر اساس <باد> بنا شده مقایسه و تجدید نظر دو لغات چینی هستند و نا مفهوم. برای چنین شخصی فقط و فقط جهت وزش باد مهم است که شجریان در آن جهت آواز سر میدهد و بانو عبادی تولید <گفته> میکند.

I don't know if you ever reviewed the history of Iran but if you consider toppling a democratic regime and placing a dictatorship anything other than colonization, then you need to review your vocabulary.
