Dear Pandar
by areyo barzan on Wed Jan 11, 2012 05:22 AM PSTIf you do not have any thing useful to say is it better to keep it closed.
Even you should know by now that such insults and foul language used by IRI, its besijee cronies and paid supporters have lost its effects long ago.
I personally do not dismiss any one and keep a close watch on all the candidates of leadership. Furthermore if RP is such hopeless and illogical candidate and if he has no support inside or out of Iran then why are you so worried. Have you ever seen me taking AN seriously or getting winded up by his interviews. That is simply because I know that he has no support inside and out of Iran, except for those on his payroll and even they do not believe on what they say (just playing along). On a more serious note though I could also assure you that the time for negative campaign has long surpassed and we no longer buy such BS. Now! if you know another candidate who could be a better leader or even worthy of being considered as the main leader of opposition, standing against the IRI then by all mean. Come clean and state his/her identity. we will then examine them and give our verdict in due time. Furthermore I can even personally assure you that (unlike you) we will not resort to insult ridicule and blind dismissal.
So the time has now come up to either put up or shut up
Fred Jan Not just Presidents on US Networks but also Royals
by Darius Kadivar on Wed Jan 11, 2012 05:06 AM PSTCrown Prince Reza in comparison actually handled the interview quite politely and well.
Not sure one can say this about the following eminent Royals ...
Prince Charles Irritated during Press Call
Spanish King tells Hugo Chavez to shut up (English)
As such we can indeed truly be proud of our Royals dignified behavior !

If you can not take the heat, then get the hell out of the kitch
by areyo barzan on Tue Jan 10, 2012 02:51 AM PSTIf RP is man enough to sit trough such tough interview and successfully get his point across and come out clean on the other side. Then who are we to become “Kase-ye az aash Daagh-tar” and take offence at what RP himself did not.
After all isn’t such attitude the indication of the fact that if today our rulers are brutal dictators, to an extent it is our own fault for putting them beyond criticism and punishing any one who dare to ask the difficult question.
When are we going to learn from the past mistakes?
If today you or I were to employ someone to clean our back garden we will go trough several checks and references and interview the guy to such extend to assure us that the person is up to the job.
Why serving as a leader to take the country into a new direction and even uncharted territories should be less important and why should we select our leaders with closed eyes just out of fait. Have forgotten where did such attitude got us the last time why do we keep repeating the same errors over and over and over again
Just remember that at the start of his reign RP’s late father Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was an also similar modest democrat man who had no problem with criticism or answering the tough questions. He even did not have any problems with handing a lot of his powers to his prime minister and Majless Shoraaye Melli But it was our Chaaploos attitude that moved him beyond criticism into the state of Khodayegan and in the end that arrogance led to his down fall, the destruction of the country and we all paid for it.
I believe it is about the high time that we learned the lessons of the past. In spite of all the respect that I have for RP and the level confidence that I have in his ability to lead still I do not believe that he is perfect or should be beyond questioning and criticism.
Just remember that he is the one who stepped forward for the job of leading us and for that he needs to prove his worthiness and not the other way round.
Being confronted with difficult and sometimes even aggressive questions and having a calm logical answer for those questions is an essential part of being a leader and anyone who can't take such grilling should step out of the way and open the position for another person who is able to do so
