Boy oh boy

It is now all but certain that due to IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic’s open defiance of UN Security Council’s actionable legal orders and IAEA’s resolution to cease and desist illegal nuclear program at many till now discovered sites spread out throughout the country, new rounds of “biting” sanctions are to be imposed.

It wasn’t that long ago many were clinging to the hope that with new administration in the White House which has popularity at home and abroad, one which spouses dialogue and stretched out hand of friendship, the Islamist Rapists will see the errors of their ways and seize the historical opportunity. That to what end as far as alleviating the dire plight of enslaved Iranians was left to imagination.

Needless to say it has not worked the way they were hoping that it would. If fact if anything for all those so keen on “diplomacy and dialogue” the Obama Administration is the actualization of that old axiom, be careful what you ask for -- you might get it. Boy oh boy, they got it and then some.

All during the previous administration the blame for the lack of “dialogue and diplomacy” was placed entirely on America. It was said only if America met face to face with IRR things could be worked out. Many a lobbies and careers built on perpetuating the myth and pushing this agenda were launched.

And then the Obama earthquake happened. Not only America met face to face, one on one with IRR, America in the person of its popular president publically stretched out her hand of friendship.

Then at the height of Islamist Rapists’ barbaric crackdown on peaceful demonstrators America took a further step. President Obama not only was not as vociferous as he could and many argued at the time that he should have been in condemning the unbelievable brutalities, instead sent private unsolicited personal letters to the Head Rapist Khamenei asking for friendly relations.

Well all the “diplomacy and dialogue” nonsense have run their course and except buying time for the Islamist Rapists to go further with their illegal nuke program and in the process rape, torture and murder countless more Iranian men, women and children not much is there to show for it.

Before it is too late and the nuke acquiring Islamist Rapists impose a cataclysmic war on Iran and the entire region, the sane world lead by the democracy-monger has to step in and head them off. Airtight sanctions with unrelenting moral and material support to the beleaguered Iranians to overthrow the unreformable caldron of Islamist insanity is a must. Time is of the essence.

And you know this based on what evidence? That you've seen through Khamenei's sole and he is going to bomb your country Israel? If anything it is Israel who will strike first as they've been threatening for years now. I dont see you ever condemn them.

, the sane world lead by
the democracy-monger has to step in and head them off
.

Democracy-monger who has just ordered for more drones and bombs to be dropped on Pakistan, provoking people in Baluchi areas, is escalating war in Afghanistan and is STILL in Iraq after all that has been destroyed and lives lost and genetic mutations have occured as a result of the bombs.

Airtight
sanctions with unrelenting moral and material support to the beleaguered
Iranians to overthrow the unreformable caldron of Islamist insanity is a
must. Time is of the essence.

Only an Israeli/neocon and brainwashed useful idiots of them will say that time is of the essence.  They've been saying time is of the essence since 1992. Every year since then, they made a fuss about Iran wanting to accuire nukes. And almost every year they pushed for some new sanctions. What was the end result? Islamists are stronger than ever before.

So what is the intention of Israel with all the sanctions? It is simple. To contain and deter and when the right time comes and the regime is weak enough (and society with it) they can wage war.

"Criminalizing Consequences of
Sanctions," Peter Andreas,
International
Studies Quarterly
49 (June
2005): pp. 335-60.

Read

One of the biggest flaws of the sanctions literature has been the
failure to discuss unintended consequences. Humanitarian costs have
been
raised above, but what about other side effects? Peter Andreas looks at
the consequences of the multilateral sanctions directed at the former
Yugoslavia during the 1990s and finds a disturbing legacy. Economic
sanctions, it turns out, can unintentionally contribute to the
criminalization of the state, economy, and civil society of both the
targeted country and its immediate neighbors. By trying to evade the
sanctions, private entrepreneurs and public officials are encouraged to
disregard the rule of law. This fosters an unhealthy symbiosis among
political leaders, organized crime, and transnational smuggling
networks. These criminal networks can persist even after sanctions are
lifted, contributing to public corruption and undermining governance.

"Are Smart Sanctions Feasible?" By
Arne Tostenson and Beate Bull.
World Politics
54
(April 2002): pp. 373-403.

Read

The comprehensive United Nations sanctions on Iraq during the 1990s
were a humanitarian disaster, leading policymakers to recognize that
for
any future sanctions regimen to be politically sustainable its human
costs would have to be limited. Thus was born the concept of "smart
sanctions" -- tailored measures, such as asset freezes, travel bans,
and
arms embargoes, that would supposedly target an offending regime while
minimizing collateral damage to the country's population at large. The
question now is whether smart sanctions can achieve significant results
with fewer downsides than more conventional forms of economic coercion.
Arne Tostenson and Beate Bull review the evidence and conclude that the
answer is no: "Although smart sanctions may seem logically
compelling
and politically attractive, such regimes are difficult to establish and
enforce because of numerous inherent operational problems and the
intricacies of the Security Council's political processes."

AMIR1973

When it comes to war, Uncle Sam far and away gets the gold medal

by AMIR1973 on

The sincerity of Obama's "hand of friendship" can be seen in his escalation of the war in Afghanistan and the US government's support for Jundallah. The US government is an aggressive entity that has nearly two hundred thousand of its troops occupying Iran's immediate neighbors to the east and west. In Afghanistan, the "democracy-monger" has just witnessed an "election" fraud that should be seen in a similar category as the "election" fraud in Iran.
