Following is from the October 31, 2011 blog which was based on the investigative report by Bloomberg titled “Iranian Police Seizing Dissidents Get Aid Of Western Companies”:

Saeid Pourheydar whose four front teeth were knocked out during torture says:

“This is a commerce of death for the companies that place this technology in the hands of dictatorships. All these companies, which sell telecommunications services and listening devices to Iran, directly have roles in keeping this regime in power,”

Creative Software is one of those companies named in the Bloomberg’s report.

According to UANI, Creative Software continues doing business with the Messianic Islamists providing them with, according to the report, location-tracking system for cell phone users. This capability is responsible for many arrests and tortures of Iranians.

In a written response to UANI’s request to stop doing business with the torturers, Richard Lee, the Chief Executive Officer of CS in part says:

“Any connection implied between technology supplied by CS and any alleged human rights abuses in Iran is erroneous.”

There is nothing “alleged” about the human rights abuses in Iran, some of which is documented to have been facilitated by cell phone tracking.

This flippant corporate response by this CEO will not do. CS should know their reprehensible facilitation and pimping for the human rights abusers in Iran will eventually catch up with them.
