In the aftermath of the show president of IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic’s bald-faced lies he told--among others about 9/11 mass murders, Holocaust and stoning--during his annual trip to UN, some interesting development have taken place.
Aside the public outing of the Islamist Rapists’ friends in America, some of its other known partisans have had to try to cover their tracks.
One, Hooman Majd who is described in his published articles as “an adviser and translator for two Iranian presidents, Mohammad Khatami and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, on their trips to the U.S. and the U.N.” has had to write a scathing article condemning his presumably now former employer’s antics in NY.
Another, Stephen Kinzer, a favorite of the NIAC lobby and a proponent of making nice with IRR, who was a dinner guest of the show president in NY, has also somewhat rebuked his dinner host.
There are others in the same league as well like the IRR’s nuke lobbyist who in a longish write up enumerated the lies told by the show president.
My question is:
How these chaps and their likeminded could on the one hand call the show president a liar and on the other hand believe what the same “liar” says about the “peaceful intent” of the vast and illegal nuke program?

by Farah Rusta on Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:04 AM PDTYour intelligence sucks darling. Remember I have been honored by your friend Kazemzadeh by being appointed as the chief of SAVAK in his future administration :))
Hooman is related to Khatami through his father (the Shah's last ambassdaor to Japan and Kahatmi's nephew) AND is the grandson of Ayatollah Seyyed Kazem Assar, one of Khomeini's teachers and a professor of philosophy in Tehran univeristy. therefore in the words Ferdowsi:
نژاد از دو سو دارد این نیک پی
ز بهرام گور و ز کاووس کی

question on "intellecualism" from our "intellectuals"
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Wed Sep 29, 2010 08:55 AM PDTJust wondering, how does one become an "intellectual". I mean does one have to complete a "Doctorate Degree in intellectualism? If so where?
Someone must be able to answer my question for sure, as this site alone is awash with "intellectuals" using "gholombe solombe" terminology we mortals dont understand!
Some intellectuals want to benefit from two sides
by Anahid Hojjati on Wed Sep 29, 2010 08:45 AM PDTI don't read all Fred's posts but this is really shameful that everytime someone has a good point, IRI supporters on this site have to attack him or her. Hooman Majid and few others want to benefit from what is happening in Iran. They criticize IRI but not strongly enough because they want to work for it, interview its leaders and basically they want to "ham az tobre bekhorand ham az akhoor." These people need to line up with Iranian people in struggle for democracy, otherwise someday in near future, they will lose all respect. Already, some of them have lost much respect among thsoe of us who can see what they are up to.
Grandson of x, cousin of y
by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on Wed Sep 29, 2010 08:17 AM PDTHe is married to a relative of Khatamis, not his cousin. And he is the son of a diplomat under shah before the revolution, I guess that makes him closet a Shah supporter too, Farah?
I guess Majd is guilty of being related to both regimes. He will be attacked by ideologues who have nothing better to do than to promote the next major conflict in the middle-east.
Hooman's an Iranian liberal
by Sargord Pirouz on Wed Sep 29, 2010 08:06 AM PDTHooman's an Iranian liberal like myself. He's disappointed with the 9/11 comments because he sees it as counter-productive, especially towards a potential thaw in US-Iran relations. So do I.
The goal is peace and understanding.
When Hooman becomes a critic ...
by Farah Rusta on Wed Sep 29, 2010 07:53 AM PDTsomething must have changed. As a grandson of an Ayatollah (Assar - a former Khomeini's teacher) and a cousin to a former president (Khatami) he must have sensed a change coming. Either he and his cousin have lost all their hopes of making a come back or there are indeed signs of them coming back to the front bench politcs.
There was a little "technical" fault at the begining of Ahmadinjad's speech at the UN. Apprently his interpreter had been silent for the first few minutes of his speech and eventually when he resumed his speech, his words and those of the interpreter were a few minutes out of sync.
Did Hooman Majd (his last year's interpreter) have a sudden crisis of conscience or did he quit due to a last minute dispute over his pay?

Whew, this is that poor
by Sargord Pirouz on Wed Sep 29, 2010 07:47 AM PDTWhew, this is that poor writing Type C's effort. It's a mess.
Come on guys/gals, hire a competent proof reader already.
Fred, well done
by mahmoudg on Wed Sep 29, 2010 07:08 AM PDTPeople like Majd and other so called like minded moderates, who have financially benefitted from this regime and its actions are on this site and elsewhere. But their numbers are very limityed. Just look at the membership numbers of NIAC. Very small and struggling. Millions like you and I are out there, some supporting surgical attacks like me, and some espuosing tough economic sanctions like you. The end result is the same, the removal of the Satanic regime of the Islamic Rapist Republic and with it to sideline Islam.

Rabid Islamist liar 2
by Fred on Wed Sep 29, 2010 06:35 AM PDTRabid Islamist liars out to know in a civilized society, unlike their Islamist Rapist Republic, the burden of proof is on the accuser.
So, rabid Islamist liar prove your charge by citing my specific wordings!
closet war advocate Fred
by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on Wed Sep 29, 2010 06:22 AM PDTAgain, closet war advocate Fred, go look at your posts. You are so like Ahmadienad. Lying and changing subject, and even hiding behind "human rights" to push your own agenda.
Rabid Islamist liar
by Fred on Wed Sep 29, 2010 05:02 AM PDTOf course the rabid Islamist has proof in the form of my own writings to prove his charge, if not he is a rabid Islamist liar.
Ps. who exactly is the “us” in the rabid Islamist’s comment?
war-advocate-Fred, ur posts say more about you than these people
by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on Wed Sep 29, 2010 04:48 AM PDTregardless of who the person is and what their ideology is, the persons you smear are a target because, they are vehemently opposed to war on iran and they advocate a less confrontational policy towards Iran and Iranians.
So closet war advocate Fred, next time you ask us why we think you are a closet war advocate, take a good read at your own posts.
