Yesterday, Pentagon spokesman, George Little said:
“At 4:50 a.m. EDT on Nov. 1, an Iranian SU-25 Frog Foot jet fired on a U.S. MQ-1 Predator drone that was conducting routine surveillance in international waters over the [Persian] Arabian Gulf.
The unarmed Predator was approximately 16 nautical miles off the Iranian coast when the Iranian jet began firing and was never in Iranian airspace,”
In other words, all the recent offensive ballistic Missile firings accompanied with escalation of warmongering rhetoric by the military officials of the nuke acquiring Messianic Islamist Rapist Republic (IRR) is not just hot air.
This constant baiting by the Moslem warmongers holding Iran and Iranians hostage is an ominous sign that they really mean what they say, namely destruction of Israel and confronting the West.
Decision makers in the sane world, particularly U.S. and Israel, must not lose their patience, there is still time.
Sanctions have begun to do their job, just make it airtight, add air/naval quarantine, kick out all IRR’s diplomat/spies and watch Iranians going Iranian on the common nemesis with the sane world, the Messianic Islamist Rapists, “reformers” and all.
Ps. the dimwits in Pentagon need to take remedial geography 101, there is no “Arabian Gulf”, however, there is a Persian Gulf which the name goes back to antiquity.

Huff & Puff Fires!
by Demo on Fri Nov 09, 2012 05:29 AM PSTFiring & hitting are 2 different things! These 'news making' & 'aimless' huffs & puffs will not bring no planes down! And whatever happened to the fallen US drone IRI was holding on to? Furthermore, what difference does it make what the Gulf name is where its skies are occupied by the foreign invaders' drones/jets/planes?

by Fred on Fri Nov 09, 2012 04:13 AM PSTI think it has more to do with Pentagon, for basing & overflight pourposes, sucking-up to the littoral
Arab fiefdoms of the Persian Gulf.
The State Department uses the correct name, so does the White House.
Using the phrase Arabian
by Fesenjoon2 on Fri Nov 09, 2012 04:07 AM PSTUsing the phrase Arabian Gulf is on purpose IMO. They very well know the historical precedence. It's designed to force the Iranians to ask themselves "Fight Israel? Fight the US? At what cost?" Why should the Pentagon press writer care about Iran's name on the map if all Iranians constantly wish for is to have Israel wiped off the map?
