“Lady Justice is often depicted wearing a blindfold. The blindfold represents objectivity, in that justice is (or should be) meted out objectively, without fear or favor, regardless of identity, money, power, or weakness; blind justice and blind impartiality.”
The hallmark of any sane and civilized system is its administration of justice. For instance, an Iranian is always weary of the fact that his or her life and property in IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic, occupied Iran can be taken away with impunity at any moment by any Islamist Rapist. He or she has no legal recourse.
Contrast that with democracies, U.S. presidents, even while in office, are subject to the same laws as any other American. Or even better example would be the following news item about a just convicted rapist:
“(AP) JERUSALEM - Former Israel President Moshe Katsav was convicted Thursday of raping an employee when he was a Cabinet minister, the most serious criminal charges ever brought against a high-ranking official and a case that shocked the nation.”

HHH: A very good point
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sat Jan 01, 2011 05:28 AM PSTHe is an Iranian and we should always keep in mind the anti-Iranian forces do not care if your are Jew or not. To be fair I am not dismissing the allegations. Israel does not need his support to attack Iran. His position held no power whatsoever. They need American support.
Moosa Ghassab is Yazdi, That's Why
by HHH on Fri Dec 31, 2010 11:08 PM PSTThey framed and arrested him because he's Iranian, because he was against attacking Iran.
If the Zionist Israelis really wanted to arrest the rapists they would've walked inside a large prison, locked the door & threw the key away because they've raped the nation of Palestine & they're the world's example for injustice and occupation. So please pick another country as your example for democracy, pick America because America only elected Bush by fraud, left gitmo open against the will of nation, and attacked two countries & killed a million people against the will of Amricans!
Democracy is just an ideal, a myth. Whoever that gets the power suddenly forgets who elected him, then he only fills his own pockets & takes care of his own friends. Human-nature always rules long-term.

Git'er done! Why would you want to add to the rather excrutiating (check the spelling there for me will you) pain of waiting for another 6 decades???
You and your bUddies who think the worse is upon us. Let's get going.

by Sargord Pirouz on Thu Dec 30, 2010 02:18 PM PSTYeah and France would rule Algeria for another 200 years... not.
Israel has 60 more years, tops.
The only person in my family using assisted living is my 102 year old American grandfather. And he didn't check in until he was already 95! So it looks like it'll be a dead heat between me and the end of the Zionist colonial project.
"misquote" or not misquote...
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Thu Dec 30, 2010 02:12 PM PSTBut you'll be still here in 20 years time, hitting the keybord from your nursing home still cursing the "zionist entity", wishing for it to be wiped off the map. Do you know why? Because the "zionist entity" has been empowered for at least another century thanks to this biggest fraud of the centry, called political islam and it's bastard twin sons: Al-Qaeda and the islamist regime of Iran.
In the meantime, the only thing you and your poster boy can possibly wipe is the mucus at the end of your collective nose!

by Sargord Pirouz on Thu Dec 30, 2010 02:07 PM PSTAnd it is a horrible story, isn't it.
But hey, like I said: Katsav = Fred = Iranian Zionist
Aha! It's fine to talk about Israel, ONLY if you're an apologist
by Q on Thu Dec 30, 2010 02:00 PM PSTor in this case, a well-known propagandist operation.
Say anything about Israeli human rights violations, threats to kill Iranians and support of terrorists, and you will hear:
"We don't care about Israel/Palestine, we care about Iran!"
Question: Does FredCo really believe this? Obviously not. This is what FredCo wants to convey to Iranians:
Don't talk about Israel, (a country that is threatening Iranian lives every day, and supporting terrorists who kill Iranians,) if you're going to criticize it,
Do talk about Israel, if you're going to apologize for it, defend it, or try in vain to spin a horrible story into some kind of positive.

by Sargord Pirouz on Thu Dec 30, 2010 01:56 PM PSTHuh, Roozbeh, I admit my Persian ain't the best but obviously it's better than yours if you're using that tired old "map" misquote.
But maybe you're deliberately mistranslating in the name of being anti-Iran. Yeah, that's likely it.
Maybe, one way to keep dozen or so very hostile countries....
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Thu Dec 30, 2010 01:49 PM PSTand few more dozens of terrorist groupings, only dreaming of and nothing more than "wiping you off the map" is to run a democratic society where rule of law is applied regardless of position and power.
Just observing and saying, that's all...

Huh, well at least we now
by Sargord Pirouz on Thu Dec 30, 2010 01:25 PM PSTHuh, well at least we now know that this particular "Fred" commenter is between 50 to 60 years of age, judging by his/her use of slang.
Keep on truckin
by Fred on Thu Dec 30, 2010 01:20 PM PSTLying is a natural act to the rabid Islamists. They don’t even care how bold faced the lie they say is. Keep on truckin.

by Rea on Thu Dec 30, 2010 09:11 AM PSTLook at it this way.
Ruining a woman's life (never mind the reputation) by a broadly oversized definition of "woman's consent" is neither halal nor kosher. And certainly not a gentle/manly thing.
It takes a lot of courage to report a rape and/or sexual harassment at work, particularly, if it is your boss. And a powerful political figure with that.
"She asked for it" attitude is still very much alive.

by comrade on Thu Dec 30, 2010 06:57 AM PSTNever mind the Israeli part, and forget his Iranian side.
Ruining a man's life and reputation by a broadly oversized definition of rape is not kosher.

Katsav = Fred = Iranian Zionists
by Sargord Pirouz on Thu Dec 30, 2010 06:34 AM PSTIn the case of Katsav, we're talking about a self-exiled Iranian Zionist, precisely the same kind of people that appear to make up the "Fred" propagandist effort.

by 13th Legion on Thu Dec 30, 2010 06:05 AM PSTAt least the “payambar” had the decency of taking a bride instead of forcing his fat ass on another.
As far as I am concerned the IRI & Israel both make me puke, both are the same shit under a different name, rapists of humanity!
Join the crowd
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Dec 30, 2010 05:51 AM PSTThey just don't want to fall behind us; their old allies. IR has a child molester for "Payambar"; so they figured to get a rapist for president.
To their credit they don't worship him like some of us worship old Moe!
The Hell with him.....
by 13th Legion on Thu Dec 30, 2010 05:47 AM PSTThe hell with Moshe Katsav, I’m tired of seeing his obnoxious fat ass ugly mug posted on the front line of every news website,Doesn’t surprise me that Israel would elect a rapist for president!
I hope he gets thrown in jail and is fat ass raped by some big wily Arab every day for the rest of his days.
