Sanctions alone NOT enough

On top of the continued disregard for many UNSC resolutions ordering it to stop its illegal nuke program, the Islamist Rapist Republic (IRR) has stepped-up its bellicose warmongering behavior.

During its just concluded naval exercise in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, not only it publicly threatened to close the vital international shipping lanes passing through the Strait of Hormuz, it “warned” the departing US Navy Aircraft carrier exiting the Persian Gulf  to not come back.

Of course none of these warmongering behaviors is new; the Islamists have been acting this way for a long time. The difference is the sane world has begun to pay due attention to the gathering clouds.

The recent belated sanctions on the Islamists’ Central Bank along with some talk of oil embargo by the Europeans are a good start. However, at this late stage, they are not enough.

The free world must start air & maritime cargo inspections and impose total travel ban for IRR’s functionaries including those using diplomatic passports. It must also start helping the enslaved Iranians yearning to be free with logistical needs and strike funds for workers in vital industries.

Much, much faster!

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Re: Iran can't be as bad as them, right Fred?

Joe:

Iran is a nation while Taliban are a group. Iran is not the same as "Islamic Republic". Please get these right because many Iranians do not support it. The Islamic Republic is a governmental regime not same as the nation.

A nation is not the same as the government running it.  You should understand it as you don't support American government policy.

by Joe L. on

Jaffar would be closer to Jeff not Joe. come up with a better Iranian name that matches mine.
My tax supported agent says: “He couldn't care less about what happens to Iran or Iranians"... Not entirely true. I think we should take care of business here and not waste too much on lost causes. Iran is not a good investment and should be left alone. I do care about Iranians because I care about my friends and brothers in Iran. When I visit them and see them suffering is when I get angry at our policies. FYI, in America belonging to a religious belief is not a crime so "Ummah" (not Ommah) is something you associate badly with as an individual from a third world Muslim country but means very little to me.
My beef with our foreign policies has been the waste of our resources and funds. Most people that I care for are left in inner cities where they dont get sufficient government funds while we seem generous giving that to agents here to check who writes what. I dont care if Iranian government is evil, Iranians tell me that they will take care of their own business. just let them be and leave them alone.
I heard that we made peace with the Taliban. Come on now, Iran can't be as bad as them, right Fred?

Re: Inspection is war

Well so is taking over an embassy. But IRI did it and USA did not go to war. Let us face it reality: IRI has no leg to stand on. If they want to rely on international law they need to obey it.

Yes I know many other nations also violate international law. But my point is that if you want to resort to it; you got to respect it.

Air & Naval inspection

by Fred on

Under the existing UNSC resolutions, including 1747*, the weaponized nuke acquiring Islamist Rapists are forbidden from exporting arms.

Their illegal shipments have been intercepted and ceased by number of countries including Nigeria, Turkey and Cyprus where the explosion of the low quality of the seized and stored arms created a disaster killing may Cypriots

On more that one occasion the Turks have inspected air cargo and found banned items. Maritime interdiction and seizure of outbound Islamist Rapist ships have taken place by international forces, one of which was carrying arms for the Yemenis.

*Relevant 1747 passage:

“Iran shall not supply, sell or transfer directly or indirectly from its territory or by its nationals or using its flag vessels or aircraft any arms or related material, and all States shall prohibit the procurement of such items from Iran by their nationals, or using their flag vessels or aircraft, and whether or not originating in the territory of Iran,”

You have claimed that because you do not war, you support "airtight sanctions." But, inspection and naval blockade is declration of war according to international treaties. What gives?

This is his apprenticeship period at Michael Ledin's school of subversion. The real job awaits him as a member of the future "council of liberation of Iran" or whatever else bastardization of a title such a group is to have. Much as we have seen in Iraq, Lybia, and now Syria.

Do you get daily scripts or memo of things to say or are you free to post as you wish? I just like to know how this Internet monitoring and comment posting works. Who knows if pays well I may consider it too.
