In his first State of the Union Speech, President Obama said:
“The international community is more united, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is more isolated," he said. "And as Iran's leaders continue to ignore their obligations, there should be no doubt: they, too, will face growing consequences. And that's a promise." He also said:
“we support the human rights of the women marching through the streets of Iran”
Good to hear the leader of the sane world making such a “promise” and avowing to “support” the right cause, now comes the hard part, where is the beef ?
Lets hope the presidential promise and support no longer come in the form of cutting the meager funding of Iran Human Rights Documentation Center. Or the rebuffed secret unsolicited presidential letters to the Head Rapist Khamenei asking for his friendship all the while his Islamist Rapists have been raping, torturing and murdering Iranian men, women and children.
Lets hope things have changed, promises mean something and are kept.
