People like Pendare Nik kicked out the Zionists in their 'beloved homeland' only to be kicked out themselves or enter into forced exile themselves after their 'Great Revolution' failed. The country of their choice? Why, its the wicked imperialist USA of course! The country which they accuse of installing a puppet dictator and destroying their illusional democracy of Mossadeq in 1953. Nothing the Americans have done prevent people like Pendare Nik disembarking at New York Harbour with his/her arms spread wide eagle singing  the sonnet:

OK, I exaggerate-but for people like Pendar there will always be one priority: Palestine. Even if it means at the expense of their own people which he/she admittedly flushed down the toilet in 1979.

Gingrich is right on the money on this one. There is nothing unique about the area that is called palestine. There is no such a thing as palestenian language, culture, history, identity, you name it. Arab nationalists know this very well.  They know all these borders are drawn by colonial powers and they mean nothing to Arabs. Arabs are waiting for the right time to reunify their Arab empire. Those of us who are old enough still remember that Iraq and syria came very close to merge as one nation in 1970's. 

unfortunately we live at the age of lies and political correctness so Mr. Gingrich's expressing truth about this subject will most likley back fire on him.

It is worth noting that presenting history as Gingrich has expressed in regards to Palestinians, it is for one reason and one reason only and that is to court the Jewish lobby group (AIPAC) for their much of $$$$ and influence in the upcoming election.  Principals, truth and integrity is not any part of  traits Gingrich can proudly claim but a sell out to the highest bidder.

Perhaps an invented modern nation, much like other modern states that were formed after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, and the states that were formed after the fall of the Soviet Empire, and the modern state of Israel. Gingrich's selective use of the word "invented"  on the Palestinians alone is more suggestive of political pandering than an honest lesson in history.
