I think, he wants my death, because he has no power.
the question is, what would he do if he would have power?
that's freedom of speech

by Simorgh5555 on Sun Dec 18, 2011 04:19 AM PSTPeople like Pendare Nik kicked out the Zionists in their 'beloved homeland' only to be kicked out themselves or enter into forced exile themselves after their 'Great Revolution' failed. The country of their choice? Why, its the wicked imperialist USA of course! The country which they accuse of installing a puppet dictator and destroying their illusional democracy of Mossadeq in 1953. Nothing the Americans have done prevent people like Pendare Nik disembarking at New York Harbour with his/her arms spread wide eagle singing the sonnet:
"Give me your tired, your poor/Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free"
OK, I exaggerate-but for people like Pendar there will always be one priority: Palestine. Even if it means at the expense of their own people which he/she admittedly flushed down the toilet in 1979.
thank you all for your

I'm not against the Palestinian state. But I can understand Israelis.
they think, how can we define our neighbors? people who hate us?
I think it's no good starting point

Gingrich is right.
by MRX1 on Sat Dec 17, 2011 08:18 PM PSTGingrich is right on the money on this one. There is nothing unique about the area that is called palestine. There is no such a thing as palestenian language, culture, history, identity, you name it. Arab nationalists know this very well. They know all these borders are drawn by colonial powers and they mean nothing to Arabs. Arabs are waiting for the right time to reunify their Arab empire. Those of us who are old enough still remember that Iraq and syria came very close to merge as one nation in 1970's.
unfortunately we live at the age of lies and political correctness so Mr. Gingrich's expressing truth about this subject will most likley back fire on him.
"Wise guy"
by پندارنیک on Sat Dec 17, 2011 08:02 PM PSTI'm sorry that you found my comment off topic...........you're one of those Zonists/Zionist elements who these days share their beds with the neocons that I helped to be kicked out of my beloved homeland more than three decades ago.......and here we meet again, sort of.............it's amazing how I was capable of keeping my feelings for your kinds intact................I can't wait to see you dead.
No expression of physical threat in any shape or form has been expressively or implicitly intended.
While the last 3 commentators are correct in their assessments..
by Bavafa on Sat Dec 17, 2011 06:09 PM PSTIt is worth noting that presenting history as Gingrich has expressed in regards to Palestinians, it is for one reason and one reason only and that is to court the Jewish lobby group (AIPAC) for their much of $$$$ and influence in the upcoming election. Principals, truth and integrity is not any part of traits Gingrich can proudly claim but a sell out to the highest bidder.
'Hambastegi' is the main key to victory

No wonder Newt's considered a historian
by maghshoosh on Sat Dec 17, 2011 05:26 PM PSTRegarding the latest piece of wisdom from Gingrich, it may be worth reading the opinion of Uri Avnery, 88-year-old Israeli writer and former member of their parliament, who served in the 1948 Israel's war of independence:
//zope.gush-shalom.org/home/en/channels/avner...
It is as much of a nation as Israel
by divaneh on Sat Dec 17, 2011 04:01 PM PSTLet's remember that Israel was also created about the same time and from immigrants.
Not an invented people
by Ari Siletz on Sat Dec 17, 2011 04:06 PM PSTPerhaps an invented modern nation, much like other modern states that were formed after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, and the states that were formed after the fall of the Soviet Empire, and the modern state of Israel. Gingrich's selective use of the word "invented" on the Palestinians alone is more suggestive of political pandering than an honest lesson in history.
