by Parham on Mon Aug 22, 2011 09:05 AM PDTI laughed at some of your categorizations, a few are very funny! : )
You can add Liberal Democrats to my creed (//www.iranliberal.com/) as they haven't been represented on the list.
To those who don't like the categorizations, I'd say democracy has to start somewhere! Just take it with a grain of salt, will you??

Soosan Khanoom
Don't think so!
Faramarz, what do you mean by "Women"??
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Mon Aug 22, 2011 08:04 AM PDTMy socialist Democratic gut feeling tells me that, the "woman" is some 5ft2, 200lbs cyber bassij guy smelling badly of a mixture of golab and many weeks without having ashower.
And here i am not talking about, Souri, monda, anahid, rea, nazi, azadeh, haj khanoom, shirin and a few more you missed :)
BTW Masoud, I have no idea how you could still write such a brilliant blog aftrer having these endless cicular debates with the brick wall pro regime mental cases over the past few days. But I guess that is how you managed to at least identify some of them :)
"Personal business must yield to collective interest."
LOL .....
by Soosan Khanoom on Mon Aug 22, 2011 07:40 AM PDTPro democracy my foot ... same with the independent ones ...
Dear Ayatoilet1: Some months ago when you first joined
by Bavafa on Mon Aug 22, 2011 07:39 AM PDTYour choice of userID gave me an impression that your contribution is going to be JUST an IRI/Islam basher but with no substance. Since, I have been following your posts and comments and quite to the contrary, I find them very insightful, logical read worthy.
Your last few exchanges here and/or in the other post regarding MEK by MK are good example of that, but also your own blogs as well which I follow.
So, I would think and believe the content of what we bring here coupled with our conduct is a far better gauge in where we stand then perhaps a few rosy words or credentials. This blog is a good example of what, I came here by accident as I typically don't follow gossip or writings that are design to divide us instead of uniting us, but after reading it content and comment, could not resist to add my 2 cents here.
Regarding VPK, we have had our agreements and disagreements but he has consistently proven his true love for Iran, along with politeness in conversation. The characterization is more of a reflection of the accuser then the individuals.
'Hambastegi' is the main key to victory

How about the Women?
by Faramarz on Mon Aug 22, 2011 06:58 AM PDTGreat observation Masoud Khan, but how about the women on this site like, Monda, Anahid, Souri, Rea, Tiger Lily/CoCo/Dirty Angel, Nazy, Azade, Hajj Khanoom, Shirin and a few more?
Dear VPK
by darius on Mon Aug 22, 2011 05:54 AM PDTActually , I got a good laugh out of it . I may disagree with him, but
I have nothing but respect for him and all other members , Iranian or any nationality .
I am sure , we all somehow care for our country , I am looking forward to a day , that all this care and passion turn into a positive force in forming a just and balanced system that will result in rebuilding Iran before it is too late.
Hey MK
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Aug 22, 2011 05:39 AM PDTYou missed Salman Farsi and Molla Shotor and Freethought. By the way I noticed Molla is no longer around.
What is happening to us? Where is my favorite camel!
Re: What's Wrong with Us Iranians?
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Aug 22, 2011 05:36 AM PDTDear Ayatoilet: what is this "us" thing about? You are faced with a blog by one man. Not "Iranians" in general who are far more tolerant. He gets to have a post and get people some laughs. I did get to laugh but will not pay for the entertainment.
Dear Reality-Bites thanks for your kind words; I feel the same toward you. Also thank you for reminding me of the humorous nature of this. I won't take it seriously and no need to flag it. We all need a good joke once in a while and this is today's joke.
Dear Darius: I would hardly call this "intelligence" rather the opposite. But I am not going to use ministry of s***ty word so I won't violate IC rules. Keep up to good work for now so long...
Thanks God You Are Not In Charge!
by darius on Mon Aug 22, 2011 05:03 AM PDTAlready started your own ministry of Intelligence!
MK I can see you put some thought into this, lol
by Reality-Bites on Mon Aug 22, 2011 06:10 AM PDTThey might not be all accurate, but I guess it's a bit of a light relief and fun. Categorizing VPK as a "loose canon" did make me laugh, but he is a good dude. I might not agree with everything he says (though I do agree with a lot), but I know he is a true vatanparast.
I think all in all, there are a lot of good people here and, admittedly, some strange/dubious ones too. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Having a mix is what makes the place fun.
My advice to people would be, don't take it all seriously and just have fun with it.
Well I get
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Aug 22, 2011 04:45 AM PDTa pigeon hole of my own!
Of course MK declares himself as "pro democracy". Right, in his dreams more like it.
Really this whole blog should be flagged as an attack on pretty much at least a dozen IC posters.
What's Wrong with Us Iranians?
by ayatoilet1 on Mon Aug 22, 2011 04:35 AM PDTWhy is it that everyone has to be characterized and put in a pigeon hole. Felani is a monarchist, and felani is a IR inteligence agent ...etc. Why can't we just take each comment, each idea, each issue on a one by one basis, and just focus on the arguments, the facts, the issue and move on. Does it really matter who is with who? Why can't we be more 'situational' and show "situational leadership' - case by case, issue after issue?
Bad people can sometimes make positive contributions. Hitler was an a**hole, but you know he helped create the german autobahn system and the auto industry in Germany. We need to stop puting people down because of who WE THINK they are, and focus MORE on what exactly the issue being discussed is about, and whether they can make a positive contribution to the analysis, the thinking processes etc.
Its almost childish, and immature politically to try to pigeon hole everyone. Masoud, you might be surprised. Some people you are "putting down" or establishing "prejudices" about maybe 180 degrees different to your impressions of them.
In a democratic system - with multiple political parties in Majlis, it is critical to focus on building coalitions around specific issues. This is part of 'democratic education'. Pigeon holing people does not help create coalitions - it polarizes the environment and separates people that would/could ordinarily work together (from different parties) for the good of the nation.
I know you are a teacher - but maybe you could learn something here from someone more humble than yourself..who is NOT a teacher. This post was not constructive. We must be constructive in our approach to each other to BUILD A NEW IRAN.
