Aslan gave AN too much credit when IRI has been executing people since Jan 1! The news is that another 10 "drug dealers" were just executed.......IRI is definitely getting more violent and barbaric.......I don't see any reformist gesture from AN.......I am truly disappointed with Aslan.......I watched him a lot in 2009.....he was on every channel plus Daily show twice.....he wore a green armband one time on Daily Show...I even visited his facebook site...I don't know what switched him......

I think the best reform for AN is a face and body change.

I think reform and improvements are all over and happen all the time. But some people so filled with hatred, stuck in the shock of 1979 or 82 or whatever and unable to move on, refuse to admit change when they see it. Unfortunately such people end up destroying the young tree of improvement. Nobody can change the world overnight, and what we do to induce improvement, no matter how small, does NOT go to waste. The "regime" is far more flexible than what the likes of Rajavi would want us to believe but when someone is so filled with hatred, he is also so very blind.

this shows an attempt by the regime to re-define terminologies.  the regime supporters on this site can use usernames such as 'reza shah' and be against monarchy, come as 'yalda' and be against iranian traditions, come as 'parsi' and beat their chest for any oppressed people other than parsis, etc.

we should put people like aslan to the task and ask them to define reform. ask them if it means not being antagonistic to the basis of islamic republic; namely, velayat faghih.  if that is so, then he may as well be a reformer. anyone not being 100% satisfied with the current regime is a reformer.
