-------------------

by Souri on Tue Sep 02, 2008 06:00 PM PDTyes, I was going to Khojasteh. It wasn't so far from Hashtroudy pesaraneh. Our teacher were almost all the same. I had my summer course in the boys school, indeed. Thanks for bringing back those good memories of the past.

by ebi amirhosseini on Tue Sep 02, 2008 05:24 PM PDTDear friends, excuse my intrusion:
Late Ali Athari, was a relative on my mother's side & life time friend of my late uncle who used to have a hand in poetry too.Now that you mention it,in fact he had a poem called "Yaaghi",which he composed/wrote one night during their drinking & "Moshaaereh"rituals with my uncle .Last time I saw him was early 80's in Tehran.I already emailed his nephew & inquired about the poem.If any news,I'll let you know.
best wishes

dear Koorosh
by Souri on Tue Sep 02, 2008 11:46 AM PDTI am very confused too. I read that poem for the first time in 75/76 as I already said on a blackboard in our class of Hashtroodi high school. sometimes, some anonymous persons wrote some poems on the board before the class would started !!
I had write down most of those poems, on a
notebook which I still kept from that old time. They don't have a date
but usually I wrote the name of the poet. On that page I wrote M.
Sereshk !!!
I always thought it was from M. Sereshk, until I heard yesterday on a TV program that this was Dr. Hooshang Shafaa who said that poem !
Later in that deklame mp3, I heard that it appeared on a book published in 1958 (1980 ??)......Now I conclude maybe the real poet, had change his name and took a surname as "Hooshang Shafaa"..?
I have no clue about this, and am very sorry if I gave you wrong info,
but every where you look now, this poem is attributed to Dr. Hooshang
Shafaa. Hope someone can give us the clue about this.
Thanks for your contribution.
yaaghi!
by Koorosh Angali (not verified) on Tue Sep 02, 2008 09:55 AM PDTAs far as I remember (from the high school days) the poem ياغی is in fact by Ali Athari-Kermani (علی اطهری کرمانی), not by Houshang Shafa. And, once again, if I remember correctly the exordium is:

by Souri on Tue Sep 02, 2008 05:59 AM PDTYes I know Rahi Moayeri. Actually I was born in a family (of father) who loved literature and poetry. My mom also is a very romantic type !! She was too much in Balzac and Moayeri...etc etc.
My aunt is also an old Farhangi type who write the poems now. Also is my
uncle who is still teaching laws in universities in Iran, his two books
in laws, had won twice the "jayezeh slatanati" from the Shah, but are still
used in the universities of Iran as scolar books for teaching laws !!! This was him, who teach me lots of things by giving me all the
books of Dale Karnegi and also Bertrand Russell since I was a child. I
am always thanksful of him for all this.
Rahi Moayeri was indeed a hero of the time for our parents generation. At
the beginning he was very "Hafiz" then he changed to "Saadi" that I
liked much less. If you like Marzieh, you will find lots of Moayeri's
taraneh among her songs. Like Didi ke rosva shod delam...and also a
beautiful beautiful song he did for Hayedeh ( I believe that was the
very first song of Hayedeh) which is called "Azadeh am"....
We have very great ostad like Moayeri in our literature.
About your sister, becoming more spiritual and religious, that was my point
in an old blog, I said also contrary of what people say here in
this site, unfortunately, the real fact is that people in Iran tend to
become more and more religious. I know many persons in our family
that now became religious, whom I would never believe one day I could
see even a little sign of Islamic or religious behaviour in them. Kinda
Zainabieh, Fatemieh, Namaz komeil, khaneghah ....etc !!!
This is also a side effect of having an Islamic government.
Cheers, my dear friend.
And Thank you for the nice words.

by Souri on Mon Sep 01, 2008 07:18 PM PDTشهپر ما آسمانی را

What a nice piece of poem. Very rich and meaningful. I loved it! If it's not too much work, can you please write the whole thing? If the poem is from a book, can you scan and post it, PLEASE. Or tell me where I can find this poem on the net?
I've never heard of Dr. Hooshang Shafaa. Who is he?
Well, anyway, thanks for sharing.
