Thank you dear comment
by Souri on Wed Oct 12, 2011 09:43 AM PDTIt is for the people like yourself, that I am still here, posting comments and blogs.
I like your objectivity.
My hat off to Souri.
by comments on Wed Oct 12, 2011 09:28 AM PDTI know you are being encouraged by critisism than being discouraged. This is a must in one's personal attributes.
The unfortunate is many of people are not comfortable with basic words because they really don't know what they are. Basic words are strangers to many people. They are scary because they invite people to be accountable and trustworthy.
It is similar to wikipedia. Thesedays, many people blame wikipedia for being cheap. The question is if one is not able to write based on wiki format, it means he/she has no idea about what he is talking. Usually people with complex minds doesn't know what they know. They lack organization of their thoughts, which makes it too difficult to transfer.
I had read these before on
by Albaloo on Tue Oct 11, 2011 08:16 PM PDTI had read these before on the internet but I forgot about them. Interesting choice of words and very inspiring. Thank you for posting these.

Dear Souri....
by Disenchanted on Tue Oct 11, 2011 07:56 PM PDTYou are correct. There are lots of nonsense "featured" everyday, TWO of which are guaranteed! (if you know what I am talking about :-))!
I guess the reason I picked at yours is because my expectation was higher when it came to your blog.
Nothing personal it's just I found the choice of the words very arbitrary that could have been easily replaced by many others. As I pointed out "most" seems to be one of the most used 4 letter words..!
Disenchanted
by Souri on Tue Oct 11, 2011 07:42 PM PDTFirst of all, thanks for reading the non-sense blog. Second, believe it or not, I am not so much in this "featuring" stuff, as much as you guys are! I don't care if my blog is featured or not......because I know many people and especially those whom I truly value their opinions, will read my blogs, anyway!
Third, I don't find those words were meaningless. It all depends of our sensitivity in a particular time. I was touched by those words, at this period of time in my life.
This was also the case for some of my friends, as I can read from their comments here....but this was not the case for you, at this time. Not a big deal!
BTW, some very absurdes blogs with the very ugly titles, have been feautred here, recently. I didn't see one word of objection from you, regarding those blog?!!!
If anything the blog shows the most used4 letter word is "most"!
by Disenchanted on Tue Oct 11, 2011 07:25 PM PDTSorry to say but this is just absurd. This is just like, well I want to write a blog but have nothing meaningful to say so lets put some nonsense together and click the submit and hope JJ will feature it..!
I have seen better worls from Souri... will look forward to them..
Fastidious.
by comments on Tue Oct 11, 2011 04:50 PM PDTMy appology for becoming fastidious.
In my opinion in important or even scientific writings we must say "I" because we have to accept responsibility for what we have done or we have said.
I understand that in this blog "we" was suggested to express humblity and unity.
You covered everything...
by Mohammad Ala on Tue Oct 11, 2011 01:08 PM PDTYou covered everything except money (pool) which many of these words rest on it.

Dear Souri
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Oct 11, 2011 11:45 AM PDTThis humble person agrees with most of what you say. But one thing: "we". It is a loaded word. When someone says "we demand this": who is we? The person saying it is making themselves the de-facto spokesperson for a group.

by yolanda on Tue Oct 11, 2011 11:33 AM PDTGreat blog....I e-mailed it to other people last nite!
Thank you for posting this transcendental blog! We all can learn something here! We can cease-fire for a day or two! :O)

not bad at all, Souri khanoom
by MM on Tue Oct 11, 2011 10:22 AM PDTexcept that rumor can be a 6-letter word if you spell it as rumour, but as you suggested, I "almost" ignored it.
Dear friends
by Souri on Tue Oct 11, 2011 09:40 AM PDTI am so glad you enjoyed this text, and thank you all for having left your nice comments.
Please do add any good quotes which you think are of the similar trend to this blog. You are very welcome.
Then forgive my bad English
by Souri on Tue Oct 11, 2011 09:40 AM PDTDo you have any other good quote to add here?
I guess the point was lost,,,
by Multiple Personality Disorder on Tue Oct 11, 2011 12:16 PM PDTSouri jan,
Rumour is spelled in two different ways, as “rumour” or “rumor”. It’s the same way with “neighbour” verses “neighbor”, and “favour” verses “favor,” etc.
Rumour is a six-letter word, but “rumor” is a five-letter word. So, it is meant to be “rumour,” not “rumor,” both meaning the same thing.
:O)

-Wayne Gretzky, a hocky player.
The quote was in one of Steve Jobs' speeches.

You are right MPD jon
by Souri on Tue Oct 11, 2011 07:30 AM PDTI had asked the same question from the one who sent me that email....no answer so far! i will let you know if there were a mistake in there. Thanks for being observative :)
Bavafa jon : I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It's only a rumour that "rumor" is a six-letter word
