1. It is the blogger, Fred, who is constantly, right or wrong, bringing up the Bahais' situations in Iran. This is my first time discussing a little bit about that faith against my wishes. Will not happen again, promise.
2. Muhammed was an ordinary man in this world like all other prophets. Here is the proof: "Say (prophet muhammad): 'I am only a human like you, to whom it is revealed that your god is one god. therefore be straight with him and ask him to forgive you. woe to the idolaters (Quran 41:6).
3. He even himself does not know about his station in hereafter: "Say: "I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as GOD
willeth. If i had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all
good, and no evil should have touched me: I am but a warner, and a
bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith."
4. Quran is self explanatory & does not need any interpretations: "And no question do they bring to you but we reveal to you the truth and the best explanation (thereof)." (25:33)
5. Quran itself is a refreshner & is need of no supplements whatsoever to the eternity.
May GOD open up hearts of all to his true religion. Amen.
Wishing you & your loved ones the best of your lives ahead.

Why can't you leave the "infidel Baha'is" alone in their ways?
And Prophet Muhammad, unlike what is taught to Muslims, was no ordinary man. He was a Manifestation of God (I know what is said about Him in the Koran, but there was a purpose for that, I seriously hope you do not think He had the same station in Allah's worlds as you and I do) and at a much higher station than what you and I can even fathom. He brought The Koran as no other man could, He was predestined at the moment of His holy birth, and anyone who thinks He just wondered in that cave that day and God decided, well, here is a man, why don't I make Him a Prophet, will have a rude awakening the moment of his passing from this world. He taught what He taught, no one is authorized to interpret His Word other than, possibly, his Imams, who did the best they could with what was at their disposal. The reason a refresher is needed, is precisely, because of the introduction of these interpretations into The Religion of God. Have a wonderful evening.

"To you your religion, and to me my religion." (Quran 109:6)
Regretably, Demo has decided not to get into the 'faith' related discussions with anybody here on IC. But only one thing though, no AUTORIZATION is ever needed to interpret Quran as it was revealed to an illiterate bedouin Arab some 1500 years ago with the worst of illiterates polytheists around him as his tribe. If they understood it then, SHAME on us all on 21 century!
May GOD guide us all with his guidance & out of his grace. Amen.

by stavackoli on Mon Aug 27, 2012 07:35 PM PDTThe problem with interpretation of The Holy Koran your way or even my way (I say that to say I can not interpret it, I did not, as only the ones who are AUTHORIZED can) is that we do not know how to do it. So, for the sake of argument let's say God at one point had decided Islam completed His Word. Do we have the authority to say hey God, did you forget? if he does decide to change his mind. Didn't he change the point of adoration for the Moslems in the middle of the Prayer when Prophet Muhammad was alive? Didn't some of the Muslims turn away from Islam because of this? Wasn't this a test of the true believers? A true believer is one that recognized The Word of God no matter where he finds it. Ask yourself whether you have actually found something fundamentally wrong with the teachings of Baha'u'llah, or is it your dogma which binds you to one way of thinking that then blinds you to the reality of things. And then you have this thing again about something belonging only to one religion and one religion alone, if by saying the statement of unity of religions comes from Islam you mean Islam invented it, I would tell you, what is the difference? They are all one religion, you want to call it Islam? fine, call it Islam, if you actually understood what that statement meant, we would not be having this conversation. There is one people, one religion, it needs renewal because the social teachings need renewal and refreshment. As the material world around mankind grows, so does the need for the evolvement of the social teachings that come from God. You don't really think the world can survive without interest on loans, or that women should count as half a man in a court of law, do you? Times change, people change; logic dictates that the social teachings of the most important factor in human life, his spirit, should also change.

by stavackoli on Mon Aug 27, 2012 03:59 PM PDTWhile I usually refrain from wasting everyone's time with answering things that do not need any answers, I will break my own rule and embark on answering the comments brought up here.
First with Demo's questions:
1. Leva's going to prison is documented, her brother is in prison, along with his grandfather and I do not see how one can deny someone going to prison when the entire internet is at the disposal of the relatives of the person and the relatives are reporting the same thing as the Society mentioned above, the one you call the unknown group.
2. Baha'i religion is not native to Iran and it has "originated from Islam", I really don't know how to comment on this one. So, Christians are also Jews and Moslems are Pagans and so on and so forth? If you actually take the time to study, you will learn that not only The Baha'i Faith considers itself a world religion, once and for all, nullifying your argument here, but also considers all religions one religion; should I repeat that? ALL RELIGIONS ARE ACTUALLY ONE RELIGION, THE "RELIGION" IS COMING DOWN ONE STEP AT A TIME AND BUILDING ON ITSELF. It just takes some thinking, try it.
3. What type of a document would prove that Baha'is are beneficial to Iran and Iranians? The first ever school for girls in Iran was erected by Baha'is (Madrese Tarbiat), this at a time when the Moslem clergy considered teaching girls a blasphemy and equivalent to heresy and stupidity (see Sheikh Fazl'ullah Nouri), a great number of Baha'i Iranians outside of the country are rather accomplished professionals and add to the overall worth of the Nation of Iran (I am not sure how one would document that), there has never been one Iranian Baha'i outside Iran accused of spying, espionage, acts of treason, acts leading to mass killings, etc.; acts that portray not only the person as a bad apple, but by mistake or not, bring down the worth of the group he/she is associated with. Baha'is are proud of Iran and Iranians and show it, we may not be in favor of the present government because of the multitude of the injustices it has perpetrated on our extended family, but we do not hold Iran or the Iranians responsible for any of it.
Ma'amoor:
Really now? Copying Koran? So the stories in Koran are copies from Bible and Torah too?
Baha'u'llah has more than 100 volumes some of which are equivalent to Koran. The Bab within his short span of life generated just as much literature. Are you telling me all of these are copies from Koran? It is interesting because a lot of what in these books has nothing to do with Koran and a lot of the social teachings are almost 180 degree opposite to what Koran says. I can't see how these are copies, would you please enlighten us?
Please see above regarding all religions being "ONE RELIGION", once you come to realization that all religions are from the same source, it will not be surprising to you that the fundamental truths in all of them is the same, none of them preach 80 Gods, they all have only one, they all preach good acts, they all preach against immorality, they all promise rewards and warn about punishments, they all encourage daily prayers, etc.
When a fourth grade teacher talks about some of the same things that the third grade teacher had taught, do we accuse him/her of forgery?
