views are extreme but unfortunately accepted by other irrational
Americans.
She wants to wean
Americans off
Social Security and Medicare but, like nearly every US Congressperson,
she
doesn’t want to wean Israel
off the billions in dollars of support we furnish it yearly.
In fact, a conservative estimate
says that we have given Israel
(a country of about 7 million people) nearly 114 billion dollars of
direct aid
since that country’s inception. That figure is likely not the correct
one since
we give Israel
a lot more than gets reported.
But Bachmann believes that we must keep giving Israel untold billions so
that God
will be happy. She also believes we should allow Israel
to dictate America’s foreign
policy in the Middle East and around the
world. If we don’t do all of this, God will destroy the US.
