I've always dreamed about going to Australia, mostly because of its wild and unusual natural beauty. But it's also a rich and rapidly developing country that has been very welcoming towards foreigners until recently (the ruling conservatives have made it more difficult to settle there). Still, Australia is now home to a large and vibrant Iranian community. The following are snapshots from Sydney and Perth taken by Shahriar Talebi during his trip to Down Under. -- jj
