Have you heared of the Alavi Foundation ??   Once the Pahlavi Foundation, this organization and it's assets were frozen in 1978 until President Clinton released it back to the mullahs - with the condition that no money is to leave the United States !!!!   Leaving the mullahs with $Billions in assets not knowing what to do with it.   They eventualy learned !!  first they started providing grants to American Universities to start new departments such Islamic or middle eastern Studies, or even teaching Farsi as a foreign language !!  Check out their website (financial report):  //www.alavifoundation.org/ - then came a herd of so called "Professors" who had to teach the material.  Of course IRI pushed their own people to teach these courses which only middle eastern could teach anyway !!!  I can pretty much assure you just about every so called college professor in America who teaches courses like middle eastern studies, women in Islam,....... in colleges which recieve Alavi grants have attachments to the mullahs.  Not that these people support IRI - they are just interested to keep things the way they are to collect $$ !!!  don't forget, these are people who under normal circumstances would not be allowed to flip burgers in America, and now are carrying titles of Harvard and Stanford Professor !!   Eventualy, and through this process, IRI was able to form a network of people to help them with their money laundering and distribution efforts.   Watch out for the next disaster in Iran, and this network will collect millions $ of aid funneled through Alavi money.   Of-course these so called professors have many Iranian students in their classes and easily recruit and brainwash them.   The $250/month posters are often the student recruits and the brainwashed who will do anything for the extra and easy pocket money !!

It is good to have you in this forum as for a balanced debate we need to have a regime apologist in our midst. I can see that you insist on being known by your academic (?) title to make sure that we do not forget who you are: a retired professor of business who now spends his time between LA, Tehran and Bejing. Didn't you know that "Atr anast keh khod bebooyad." I am sure having been positively vetted by the regime's security and so having the right to teach in Iran, you should have a number of contacts in the ministry of Information and in the IRGC, where I used to work many years ago. Clearly, as a regime apologist you need to defend your paymasters as much as you can but please do not go too far as this ex-Pasdar knows more about the IRGC and thier activities than a regime lobbyist who finds no problem to cooperate with the regime. For those of you who are genuinly concerned about Iran, let me try again to make it clear for you.  It is not a matter of "if" but "when" and "how".   The world is united and determined to clean the globe out of the Islamist terror network.  Do you get that ?  do you want that ?  I do.   Now, our regime is one of the leading contributors to global terror - do you understand that ?  so put 2 and 2 together.    No - I am not promoting a military attack on Iran - but it shall certainly happen unless we do something about it.   The only chance Iran has is via Iranians taking things over and get rid of the Arabists who have occupied Iran.  Right now sanctions appears to be the strategy.  They appear to be directed against the Pasdar forces, and if successful the situation may end up favoring true Iranian nationalists to emerge victorious - if we stick together and act smartly and promptly.   Meanwhile, what message are we sending the world by holding "Stay out of Iran" signs ?   Aren't we saying: We support the terror network ?  ISn't the consequence of siding with the mulhas an attack Ion ran with no concern for the popuation who supports terror.  Aren't we in also saying: Let Iran rot !!!  If you don't know Iran is suffocating and rotting under the mullahs then you are waaay out of touch.
