Great job!
by Girle Irooni (not verified) on Wed Apr 15, 2009 08:27 AM PDTWow, this was great! I loved it. Only a ture "hafez shenas" gets gentleman's point!
Doctor Abdolhossein Zarinkoob (God bless his soul), would highly value this interpretation.
Thank you for sharing.
It was nice!
by Jaleho on Wed Apr 15, 2009 07:04 AM PDTWarm recitation. He is deltang, for sure!

He is actually entertaining
by ramintork on Tue Apr 14, 2009 03:57 PM PDTEncourage rather than discourage that is my motto.
He sings in tune, and seem passionate about what he is doing and probably enjoying himself.
This is more like whispered rather than slam poetry but as far as the dramatics go, I liked the different approach.
I thought he is entertaining.
If he is doing this as a hobby then it is a good healthy hobby and even with a limited vocal octave range he does a better job of it than a lot of Balony that comes out of old L.A. Iranian music scene, however if he wants to do this more seriously then one would expect more.
More Power to Him!
by Peykan on Tue Apr 14, 2009 03:47 PM PDTAside from his pleasant voice and style, the Hafez' message is noteworthy as well.

Not bad!
by Payam S (not verified) on Tue Apr 14, 2009 01:33 PM PDTHe hits the notes right, which is a very hard thing to do in classical Persian singing. Who is to say this man is crazy? Just because he does not sing within our societal norms does not make him loco. His facial expressions might derive from his deep PASSION for the poetry, and his understanding of the tone; something that most singers today do not possess.
Don't be a player hater, Be a player participater!
Peace,
Payam

Enjoyed it!
by Javad Yassari on Tue Apr 14, 2009 09:11 AM PDTHe obviously understands both Hafez and Persian music. Add to that his theatrics, and he becomes very interesting! Enjoyed watching this!
