She's great

I saw Shappi live a couple of days ago, in Birmingham, UK.
She's even better in a small venue - I even got picked on as an audience member (I'm a man with long hair =P).
If you hear her on the radio soon, you're in for a treat; she's got some good new material.

"Asian" in the UK actually means people from the Indian subcontinen. It is Not the same as in the US.

She is a great Iranian ambasador! Fights against all the stereoptyes in her own unique way, evn though she came to UK when she was only a kid! Wonderful work!

We were laughing so hard with my kids who don't understand Persian! She is smart & so pretty and down to earth! What I love about her is that she has not forgotten her Iranian roots and she is proud of it too! I guess, we cannot expect any less from her patriotic and funny dad who almost lost his life for Iran!

Love her English accent, especially when she says PER- SIAN! We need more of Shappis! Congratulation on having a son! Any plan on coming to the US? So proud of you Shaparak!

She's hilarious!! Congrats to Shappi...it's so hard to be in front of thousands of people and trying to make them laugh without letting your nerves get to you. AMAZING!!!
