What a brave woman
by IRANdokht on Fri Aug 14, 2009 01:57 PM PDTShe's right even flogging is a physical violation like rape, but rape leaves much deeper psychological scars. All that to teach her a lesson because she walked "too" upright with her head held "too high"? well he was right, rape is the most effective way to break a person.
I admire her courage and resilience.
The extend of pain that some people can and are willing to bring to another always amazes me.

logic?
by capt_ayhab on Fri Aug 14, 2009 11:15 AM PDTSince when one must confront crimes against humanity with logic?
The issue of crimes against Iranians is a matter of LAW and justice. These criminals have chosen[with their own twisted logic] to commit these heinous crimes against their own countrymen and countrywomen.
Once they are brought to justice, FAIR law of the land and humanitarian international law will be applied to them. Fairness they never gave to women and men whom they tortured , raped, maimed and killed.
Let me ask you a question Agha Mehdi, Do you know what coward means? A coward dies 1000 times and a brave dies only once! do you get my point sir?

vildemoseThu Aug 13, 2009 07:02 PM PDT

Iran inmates 'tortured to death' - Karubi (another jew) says
by Shazde Asdola Mirza on Thu Aug 13, 2009 05:28 PM PDTIran's defeated opposition presidential candidate has said that some protesters held after last month's disputed poll were tortured to death in prison.
The claim by Mehdi Karroubi comes days after he said a number of prisoners, both male and female, had been raped.

Twilight Zone!
by vildemose on Thu Aug 13, 2009 05:01 PM PDTVictim blaming is holding the victims of a crime, an accident, or any type of abusive maltreatment to be entirely or partially responsible for the unfortunate incident that has occurred in their life. Victim blaming is a typical fascist trait,[1] infamously expressed in arguments like "a raped woman in a short skirt was asking for it". Historically victim-blaming has often emerged in racist and sexist forms.[2] It is also about blaming individuals for their personal distress or for social difficulties, rather than the other parties involved or the overarching social system in place.""--
Dear Readers: Please don't get too drawn in to this warped and twisted twilight zone of IRI collaborators making. It's wholly designed to designed to obsolve the fascists of any wrong doing.
Presence of entities such as Jaleho and Mehdi on this site is, in fact, not defense of Iran or Iranians. It's preserving the IRI.
capt_ayhab: my sister?
by Mehdi on Thu Aug 13, 2009 04:32 PM PDTYou bet you. In fact with one of my sisters, I am constantly fighting along the same lines. If this lady was my sister, I would say the same things to her. I would tell her, look, you are in a dungeon with a very disturbed individual. NOBODY is coming to rescue you. None of the people you are fighting for cares! What in heavens are you trying to do by having an argument with a prison torturer? Have you nothing better to do? I would tell her to realize that now that she is free in a relatively free environment, her message is mainly ignored - nobody cares. We all know there is a mafia in every government and it is brutal, blah, blah, blah. What is your point? Let's find a practical way to change this instead of getting all emotional and impractical. Let's not start a pointless and chaotic commotion and instead, let's see if we can bring together a few of those who are not under the ocntrol of that regime, and then you will see that the problem isn't JUST a regime. We are all involved and it requires everyone to change not just "the regime."
Yeah, let's ignore any logic
by Mehdi on Thu Aug 13, 2009 04:25 PM PDTYeah, let's ignore any logic and sensibility and go baack to demonizing "IRI" - whatever that may be! Why bother come up with logic?

If I accuse you of being a Muslim, does that end the argument? I win? I should win for sure, since you actually are a Muslim, and I am not a Jew. Right?
Are you capable of understanding that level of bigotry, where you disqualify people just because of their religion? Why is somebody as lost to humanity as you are even commenting here?

You'd have been kidnapped by Mossad, with full approval by the US government, and you'd be rotting in an Israeli prison as we speak. And then somebody just like you would be saying that you brought it upon yourself.

persian westender: You got the point wrong
by Mehdi on Thu Aug 13, 2009 02:28 PM PDTMy point was NOT that one should not make an attempt to improve his society. Not at all. My point was what is the best way to do so. By me posting this note, I am not butting heads with a mafia - well except for "Reze-San Diego" - haha. For example, there are things I know about, let's call them certain elite, that if I did mention, I would soon find INS at my door! So I simply avoid bringing those issues up. It doesn't mean I am not doing anything about them, it just means STRATEGY. What is the best way to accomplish a goal? 99.99% of the time it is NOT necessary to do something illegal, in order to improve the society. Only lazy people find it necessary to break the law and be antagonistic (such as the MKO). Becoming a "hero" or a "martyr" is the lazy man's way of doing thing (almost no member of MKO ever works or can hold a job for long). The proper way requires some ACTUAL work and doing instead of just yapping about it and blaming it all on some mythical evil entity that nobody has really ever defined or could define!

Adios sheepeesho.
Mehdi,
by persian westender on Thu Aug 13, 2009 01:50 PM PDTHow does it feel if you end up in a jail just by posting your comments here? You expressed your idea (at odd idea), and imagine if the pressure on you was so intense that you had to go to jail for these comments. It is that simple. Being a freedom fighter and political dissident is not an ‘occupation’ by choice. You could stay at home and raise your kids (if you have), study in the university, run a business and serve the society- whichever you belong to, and not post your ideas and beliefs here. But you just did, you felt that you had to voice a different opinion, and if you were in Iran and countries like that you could end up in jail as this lady did. Can I say why you just didn’t mind your business?
ex programmer craig: I feel your pain
by Mehdi on Thu Aug 13, 2009 01:40 PM PDTAll I have to do here on this site is mention the filth that is Israel and 60% of "political activists" just vaporize and disappear in the air! Haha.
