Tomatoes
by Jahanshah Javid on Wed Aug 05, 2009 04:05 PM PDTThese guys are much more civilized than I am. I was thinking that we should throw rotten tomatoes at Iranian embassy buildings and staff cars. Now I'm not so sure if it would be a political protest or plain juvenile. But god it would be so much fun!

by che khabar e on Wed Aug 05, 2009 03:11 PM PDTDidn't you see the video about your brain on drugs? :-)
You are really stretching and I mean seriously stretching when you revert to criticizing there actions as "not peaceful" or "vandalizing". I mean, come on! Didn't you see car windows getting smashed on the streets of Tehran? But putting a few little posters up is all of a sudden a sign of a violent revolution? Go somewhere else and pop off with your ridiculous comments.
American dreamer - keep dreamin'. :-)
good job

The Iranian Reform movement is Not Reform
by American Dream on Wed Aug 05, 2009 01:38 PM PDTlook beyond the smoke screens. Look beyond the bogus vandalism. What is really happening?
The theocracy is still in Iran and will be there for some time.
The reform movement in Iran is bogus.
Mousavi's grandmother is Khamenei's paternal aunt.
Mousavi and his wife had an active role in the success of the Iranian revolution. He was imprisoned for organizing street protests against the monarchy of Shah Moe Reza Pahlavi As the Iranian Revolution neared, Mousavi became more actively involved in the struggle. Soon he joined ranks with Ayat'Allah Beheshti, who was a close associate of the revolution leader, Ayat'Allah Ruh'Allah Moosavi Khomayni. He served as the fifth and last Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran from 1981 to 1989.
All the protests we see today in the news and media are a smoke screen to what is really happening.
The Theocracy is stronger than ever in Iran.
And everyone has been taken for a ride.
Even the vandalizers in the video clip.
Cheers.
peaceful, ha?
by Mehdi on Wed Aug 05, 2009 01:03 PM PDTSo at what point do we consider these guys not peaceful? What a joke. Vandalism is vandalism. This is illegal. If this is OK, then I guess throwing rocks at the police is also OK. So why do we call the Green Movement a peaceful movement? Why do we lie? Are we afraid? Are we cowards? Why not be brave and tell the truth?
Brilliant!

Damn... doesn't it make you
by che khabar e on Wed Aug 05, 2009 10:56 AM PDTDamn... doesn't it make you proud. :-) This will just lead to more and more exposure. I love it!
A great guerilla tactic!
by yolanda on Wed Aug 05, 2009 09:46 AM PDTIt looks like a well-coordinated project: posting signs, videotaping the actions, and uploading the video on You-Tube. I hope this video goes viral!

Use Superglue!
by eroonman on Wed Aug 05, 2009 05:27 AM PDTWhen I was a kid we were much more devious.
It should take 4 hours to remove this, not 20 minutes. Employees of Iran Air should suffer their decision, to choose to work for the airline. While they are innocent, they need to be nudged and get angry at their clean up duty, for representing the Iranian government even commercially.
The posters shoudl be put up again every night when the cops arean't loking, and if that is too risky, on sign posts on every corner where posting is allowed in front of the shop.
Great idea, we want more like this.
