"The books that I refered you to read are only a few of many

-Master? No. That term is only used in terms with slavery. Slavery was abolished in America after the Civil War. I was born many years after the civil war. And I do not belong to the ethnicity of the people that were slaves during those days. I will take it that in your family culture one is in a slave and master mentality with regards to his government leadership relationship. You just re-affirm the movie "300" with regards to slavery in that part of the world.

I would not read book from conservatives especially one who quotes an orientalist historian by the name of Dr. Bernard Lewis. Lewis believes that middle eastern people don't have souls, something like animals, they eat sleep and go to the bathroom. I would never read a book by them, they are far from objective and their only reason for being is superficial.

Freedom5: Any thing and everything that is not objective
by American Dream on Sun Aug 16, 2009 09:38 PM PDTAnd your book are:
1)The real Jimmy Carter by Steven Hayward
Steven F. Hayward is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (www.aei.org) in Washington, D.C.
The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI) is an extremely influential, pro-business, conservative think tank founded in 1943 by Lewis H. Brown.
Objective??? Steven F. Hayward is not objective. Reading his stuff on President Carter is like reading Hitler's Mein Kampf for the history of Judaism.
2) Mission to Iran by William H Sullivan
I have read this. Ambassador Sullivan saw the Shah losing power. Ambassador Sullivan was for opening up talks with the Revolutionary participants in order to maintain American interests in Iran. In no way was Ambassador Sullivan a supporter of Imam Khomayni. Ambassador Sullivan tried to help the Shah. The Shah was sinking and his regime was on its way out.
3) A century of war by Willian Engdahl
His first book was called "A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order", and discusses the role of Zbigniew Brzezinski and George Ball and of the USA in the 1979 overthrow of the Shah of Iran,
which was meant to manipulate oil prices and to stop Soviet expansion.
Engdahl claims that Brzezinski and Ball used the Islamic Balkanization model proposed by Dr Bernard Lewis. In 2007, he completed "Seeds of Destruction: The Hidden Agenda of GMO".
Engdahl stated in 2007 that he had come to believe that petroleum is not produced from remains of prehistoric zooplankton and algae, which had settled to a sea or lake bottom in large quantities under anoxic conditions (the theory supported by physical evidence as well as the majority of petroleum geologists and engineers[3]).
Instead he now believes in the hypothesis that petroleum is produced
underground by unknown materials, conditions and forces deeper down in
the Earth's core. Engdahl calls himself an "ex peak oil believer", stating that peak oil is actually a political phenomenon.[4]
A nut job at most. Engdahl is not objective. Engdahl refers to Professor Bernard Lewis. I know Bernard Lewis, his expertise is the Ottoman Empire, his book, Arabs in History, written ages ago was o.k. I know for a fact that Bernard Lewis is a staunch Zionist. After 9/11 Lewis became one of the people that was used as an expert by FOX News, the reactionary news channel.
4) Carter sold out IRAN by Chuck Morse
Chuck Morse is a conservative American journalist, author and radio talk show host from Boston, Massachusetts. Morse ran a write-in campaign against incumbent Barney Frank for the 2006 Massachusetts's 4th congressional district
elections, as he did not get enough certified signatures to appear on
the ballot. The total possible percentage of votes Morse could have
received as a write-in candidate in the 2006 election would be 1.2% of
the total vote. [1] As of 2/8/2007, Chuck Morse's campaign fund is currently in debt by $51,321 [2] In 2004, Morse lost 78%-22% to Frank.
Another Conservative nut.
Do you have any objective book to refer to?
Conservatives in America call that body of water, "The Arabian Gulf".
Conservatives in America believe that The Tomb Islands, Kish Island and Abu Musa belong to the United Arab Emirates.
Conservatives in America made the movie "300".
Lets look at that film again:
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDiUG52ZyHQ
Conservatives sold weapons to Iranian President Rafsanjani in what became known as the Iran-Contra Affair.
Are these your objective Experts???
Remove that forohar from your account and replace it with the label "SELL OUT".

Where do you get this information?
Give me the author's name and the title of the book of the objective journalist that quoted President Carter of disdain of the Shah before the US hostage crisis or before the Iranian Revolution.
President Carter tried to save the Shah's monarchy by advising along with General Huyser (God rest his soul) and Ambassador William Sullivan to help strengthen the government of Iranian Prime Minister Bakhtiar.
Cite where and by which objective writer and historian that President Carter had ever said one positive thing about Ayat'Allah Ruh'Allah Moosavi Khomayni. Imam Khomayni cost President Carter his re-election in 1980. Ayat'Allah Khomayni was President Carter's worst nightmare. What you write doesn't make sense.
The Shah, Prime Minister Bakhtiar, SAVAK, the Iranian Military and the Imperial Guards could not save the monarchy in Iran.

These devils did all that for a very long term financial and economical purposes and reasons!!! Plan to suck our Natural OIL and GAS resources dry at almost no cost to them, while they sold everything to us 300 times more the value and price!!!
Nothing personal, simply business!!! But at what cost????????
Note: For over 30 years Islamic Republic occupying Iran has been the best customer of all these governments in every aspect !!! Military, weapons, everything Iranian government and people needed have been sold to them by up to 300 times more than its original price tag and value globally!!!! BINGO!!! Rest my case!
For the Love of GOD , other vulchers Governments such as Turkey by being a middle man could rebuild their whole countries with Iranian people's money and lives!!!!
At that time, All those western citizens (and even now!) could not even point to Iran on the world map, thus their citizens were not guilty and simply had no clue what their criminal governments and intelligence services had in store for poor Iran!!! Of course, the fact that most Iranians at the time were even more ignorant than their western and eastern counter parts didn't help Iran and subsequently the next innocent Iranian generations who had to pay the ulitmate price of most unfair thing that has happened to a country systematically for over 30 years in Middle East and perhaps any where in this world!!!
The executed their viscous plan by protecting, housing and giving a Psycho-path Khomeini and his followers, Millions of dollars and all Foreign media (mainly BBC and VOA) to topple the Shah's regime.
All these powers (later joined by Evil Russia and China) have been responsible for Millions of Iranian lost lives, torture of Hundreds of Thousands of innocent Iranians and stealing Trillions of dollars their money lost forever from Iran and Iranian people.......... Thank you all you EVIL mother F$%kers, WE FU$%ING DESERVED IT FOR BEING SO IGNORANT AND STUPID AS A NATION BACK IN 1978 AND 1979! YOU PLAYED US SO EASYLY...

Secondly, do not make any assumptions as to whether or not "I like America". Do not make any assumptions at all.
Building houses for the poor, receiving a Nobel Prize....I'm not impressed one bit. There are many people who have built houses for the poor, clothed the poor and fed the poor, and they did not use their fame as a tool to promote their activity or draw attention to themselves and their deeds, and did not have a camera crew on hand to record the event as your hero has one on many occasions.
And as far as your precious peace prize, being on the same list as Yasser Arafat scores absolutely zero points.
If you are of the mindset that Carter is some sort of freedom fighter, then so be it. Even people with as disturbed a mentality as yours is entitled to your thoughts.
Hopefully, with advances in medicine, your mental disease will be finally brought under control in the near future, until a cure can be found.

Kaveh Nouraee :It's nice to see that many people agree with me. Not one person on this site agrees with you. If you don't like America you should go back to where you came from and stop living off America. President Carter was a freedom fighter. He won the Nobel Peace prize and built homes for the poor. President Carter helped the Shah so much...in 1979, the Shah was not even able to help himself. President Carter even permitted the Shah to come to New York for medical treatment during the 444 day hostage crisis. You are such an ungrateful person. by Reza-Rio de Janeiro on Fri Aug 14, 2009 12:08 AM PDTAnother viscious treatment of mankind by EVIL I.R. This is another very sad and heart breaking document that sadly proves of how so many ignorant Iranians (especially our so called intellectuals) were following, supported and gave the ultimate power of a country and a nation to bunch of criminal psycho-paths in the name of Islam!!! To treat human beings/Iranians in such shameful and EVIL way???
There are many concpiracy theories of how these I.R. criminals were supported and installed in our poor beloved Motherland Iran. And there are undeniable facts, documents and proofs which can be written in many miles/kilometers on those...
Unfortunately, above all other reasons, there were simply way too many uneducated/ignorant Iranians back then. I am not a Shahi, but honestly Iranians (except fractions of them who were not united by any means) had no clue who they were, what they had, where they stood in life , what was right and what was wrong!!! Who's fault? That's another 1400 year story/sad history...
Thank God, Today Iranians have changed so dramatically , NOT because of I.R.'s positive contribution to them or mankind, but due to massive amount of suffering inflicted upon them by EVIL I.R. and their foreign collaborators...
Moreover, Inevitable global modernity, technology, mass communication, media and etc. along with massive suffering woke Iranians up!!! Thank God, finally!
I.R. and its supporters can do whatever they have to do in order to survive a bit longer with their EVIL and shameful lives, however, TIME IS NO LONGER on their sides and they know this so damn well...
Iranians today, after over 30 years of crimes committed by Islamic Republic (and in the name of Islam) against humanity and against them have finally woken up !!! They are fully aware NOW!
Even the kids that have not seen or lived a single day of their lives before Islamic Republic can distinguish the difference between Good and Evil in Iran today... And they also know what is going on in the world despite all the I.R.'s censorships...
Victory and Freedom belongs to those aware Iranians who can recognize it now finally! That's why they are willing to give their precious lives and with an empty hands and without the support of any foreign entity that has betrayed their previous generations and still works against them behind the curtins!!!! Victory is their right and belongs to them now!!! And count down for their Freedom and Prosperity has already started!
Criminal Islamic Republic can not silence over 60 million FREEDOM FIGHTERS! It's over!!!
In wise words of the most interesting man in the world : "Stay Thirsty my friends! " because our biggest national party is around the corner... :-)
