FYI/Fatemeh Haghighatjoo: Female Ministers should Resign
by Darius Kadivar on Sat Aug 22, 2009 03:34 PM PDTOn VOA Persian ZANEH ROOZ former deputy of the Islamic Republic Parliament now in exile Fatemeh Haghighatjoo says that the female ministers should resign and be ashamed of taking part in the current illegitimate government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. She also slams Polygamy and other issues related to the condition of women in Iran.
Approximately half way in the program.

by Benyamin on Sat Aug 22, 2009 02:06 PM PDTI really enjoyed your comment I was LMAO.....very funny.
That is exactly it. Sub-human forms are telling us what is right and what is wrong. The Mollahs knowledge is equivelent of those early chemists that were trying to transform Copper to Gold! and they called it Kimia which went to latin as Chimi. My question is would you hire a chemist that all he knows is 1000 years old?
Well, fast forward, because today Iran is being run by those that their knowledge is from books that some are about 1000 years old the sad part is they really believe in those stuff and put them in practice as you see in this clip!
Is the IRI Islam at its best? is Islam all about sex? does Islam offer anything else? Why is it that no one in Islam other than these dinasoures is allowed to have their 2 cents? Is Islam a fake religion? Why are there so many inequalities in that religion?(not that there are non in others)
I just can`t buy the fact that "god" talked to humans in the form we are being told it was. I believe "god" talks to humans in codes in the form of science and math and after when we decoded we know what god meant in here or there.
If my opinion is wrong, then why do we have Torat and then it came new testiment? and the Quran? why not bring Quran right from the beginning? I mean I seriously don`t see any difference between them all, They all have childish stories they only get better and sweeter if they get a better anchorman or a sexier anchor woman.....lol.....lol.
But it is shameful to have them on our national TV talking openly about matters like that. I just hope this part of Iranian history is just a bad dream and we will wake up one day and it is not there any more.

by Siavash31 on Sat Aug 22, 2009 12:19 PM PDTThe problem with Basijis and Lebas shakhsis is not that they are "regilious", their problem it that they are so narrow-minded that they think everyone who doesn't share their views is evil. That looks more like your views than mine.

The notion of a religion, any religion, as the main force of a movement is questionable. It is so sad to see you as a "basiji" or Lebus-shakhsi", only on the "opposition" side.

A few brothers are definitely married to Jins!
by ramintork on Sat Aug 22, 2009 02:30 AM PDTI've seen the picture of few relatives in wedding parties, and my first reaction even though I am an atheist was "Ya Hazrateh Abbas! why did he marry a jin?"
The women have the jin make up, i.e. vertical eyebrows, and reflective skins, and their legs do not fit in human shoes, and they rarely come out of the bathroom once they have occupied the space.
They can turn you to stone with one look, or sarcastic remark if they so wish. They turn their men into slaves, you think zan zalil is bad, try Jin zalil, and they keep taking the man's life force away, and he grows old before his time!
So it looks like Mullahs did get one thing right!
Just kidding, Iranian women are generally very beautiful, and wonderful, I was lucky I married an angel!
Surprised why they arrest AIDS reasearchers for Spying ?
by Darius Kadivar on Sat Aug 22, 2009 12:49 AM PDTEven the Shah's Sepah Danesh couldn't educate these Assholes
To think Iran during the Shah's time was trying to educate people in the Villiages and give villiagers a minimum of knowledge about all matters and now look at these fellows notion of Education ? This is like if we were living the Spanish Inquisition years all over again ...
They Arrest TOP Researchers in AIDS but allow such individuals to deliver their "Scientific" knowledge about sexuality ? ...
Anyone out there who still thinks the Islamic Revolution was a progress ?

by Siavash31 on Fri Aug 21, 2009 11:48 PM PDTI can't believe that you are trying to convince me that there is no way a person can be religous and good at the same time. Seriously, is that a fair and rational statement?!
Montazeri, Sanei, Khatami, Mousavi, Rahnavard, Ganji, and many other leading figures of the Green movement are putting their lives, and that of their loved ones, in line to stand up against one of the more violent and brutal political systems that the world has ever seen. And they are doing so IN IRAN. Not from the comfort of their homes by the Pacific ocean.
All of them have already suffered a great deal and paid a heavy price for speaking up against the crimes of the regime and for standing by the people. And they are ready to give up. They could have all compromised with the system and keep their positions in power and live in the luxurious fashion beyond anyone's imagination.
Montazeri would have been the SUPREME LEADER of Iran had he not denounced the executions during the 80's when no one else dared to talk. Instead he spent all these years in house arrest, getting beaten up every now and then by Basiji thugs. Mousavi could have been President had he been less defiant of Khameni. But instead he is on the streets of Tehran walking at the front row of every rally, visiting the family of the victims and putting his life in danger everyday. Ganji lost 50 lbs of his bodyweight in jail during his hunger strike demanding the end of the institution of Velayat Faghih. And he did it IN IRAN. Hajarian was shot in the face and despite the resulting handicap, kept working for reforms and democracy in Iran. He is still being physically and psychologically tortured in the Evin prison....
Really, what else do expect from them?? How much more suffering would they have to go through so that you give them the HONOR of not sticking labels to them or maybe, God forbid, regard them as decent human beings?
Enough is enough. I am sick and tired of these unfounded labels and false accusations a la Shariatmadari. I am tired of narrow-minded people who easy accuse other of having blood on their hands because they look "muslim" or don't share the same political and religious as them. I am sick and tired of "online freedom fighters" who easily shrug off and dismiss the incredible struggles of those back home putting up a real fight with the evil regime.
I don't need to go back to my heart and find the truth, you do! You are the one who needs to look beyond someone's turban or beared face, and see their humanity.
Siavash's List
by Minoo66 on Fri Aug 21, 2009 10:04 PM PDTWith the exception of Ebadi, I would argue that every person on that list is flawed. Owing to the present situation in Iran, I don't see any advantage in elaborating on this point.
Nobody is perfect and nobody is supposed to be perfect. However, I have serious concerns regarding our naive dedication towards the prominent figures of the so-called Green Movement. I can only assume that you are too young to recall the early days of the revolution, in which the individuals from your list played a part. No one's hands are clean.
Humanity is above religion. Leave some room in your heart for humanity. Sooner or later you will be disappointed in men of God and then you will have your heart to go back to.
