by cyclicforward on Sat Dec 05, 2009 01:14 PM PSTThe first time I saw this character I knew exactly what kind of filth he is. I never believed a word he said but others believed they can put him aside afer revolution and went along for the time being. He was however pulled a fast one on all of them. We had a great chance with Shapour Bakhtiar and we could make great progress with him at the helm but the destiny had some other plans for Iran.
I hope this filth burns in hell day in and day out. I hope for a free Iran some day soon.

by Anonymous Observer on Fri Dec 04, 2009 09:30 PM PSTyour observations are very accurate and match what I noticed in my recent trip to Iran. And you are correct about this site. There are a few reasons why you see such a disproportionate number of regime supporters on this site compared to the Iranian society.
Regime supporters and sympathizers on this site are a combination of paid agents hired to spread propaganda, rabid former socialist who still don't want to admit that the 1979 revolution has failed (because they started it) and try to do whatever they can to put a happy face on post revolution Iran (that's why you still hear them talk about the Shah and his son when the IRI is raping and murdering Iranians in broad daylight), and "oghdehi's" who compensate for their latent sense of inferiority (as compared to the western world) by somehow, through impossible acrobatics, "prove" the "moral superiority" of the "Islamic culture" (and by extension the IRI) over the "western" society. All three of these groups are totally out of touch with the Iranian society.
Luckily, the Iranian people inside Iran are much smarter than these Nimrods, and saw through IRI's B.S. a long time ago...and that is the problem that the mullahs have on their hands. Trust me, this is just the beginning. It will get much worst for them.

Now that Iranians have been energized and ready, it is critical to ask for details, specifics and letter and spirit of any constitution, agreement or letter and announcement. It does not matter who says it and in what tone and how it is said. It matters how it is written into law and how it is protected by checks and balances. That no one will ever be above the law or can suit it to their own purposes.

DEATH TO ISLAMIC FASCISM
The time has come
by mehdi2009 on Fri Dec 04, 2009 01:10 PM PSTMy Dear fellow Iranians,
I have just come back after 2 weeks visit to our imprisoned land. Let me make one thing completely certain, MOST EVERYONE HATES (With a CAPITAL H) this Murderous regime. For 2 days I chartered a Taxi and travelled throughout the city of Tehran. From Rah-Ahan in South Tehran to Tajrish and Niavaran up north, and from Narmak in the East to Amir Abad in the West of this City and had conversations with ordinary people, and make no mistake about it, at least 9 of out 10 people that I was able to talk with HATE Khomeini, Khamenei and above ALL AhmadiNejad. Even people whom I could trust that are on government pay roll or are current members of either Bassij or IRGC dislike/hate this tyrannical Regime. There is a simple reason for this, the regime has lost every ounce of legitimacy that it had amoung even its own supporters, and the regime knows it very well.
The economy is even in worse shape than 3 months ago; young and old are stressed out and fear for the future. Situation is beyound Explosive, and even the Mullahs and the higher ups in the IRGC command structure know that they are sitting on top of a RAGING Volcano. If any of the regime's apologists have any doubts about what I had said here, then I would suggest to them to hop on a plane and go and find out for themselves.
Nobody in Iran, and especially the wonderful young men and women of our country has anything but curses to say about Khomeini and khameneie. The regime is eating its own people and Khameneie/AhmadiNejad Gang is arresting and humiliating the members of Rafsanjani Gang on a daily basis.
As I told to both the young men and women in Iran, the current situation for this regime is not sustainable, and hence the Day of Reckoning is fast approaching. Simply said; People are MAD as Hell, and are not going to take it any more.
Salutations to ALL the True Sons and Daughters of Iran.

Resaleh Tozihol Massael
by ghalam-doon on Fri Dec 04, 2009 09:07 AM PSTI remember right after the revolution some people in the west who probably had lost some property or influence in Iran, published this "green book"of Khomeini which was in fact some quotes form his Resaleh.
I'm not going to justify what's been written in this text. One can take any religious text, being Islamic or Christian and make a mockery of its contents, especially when everything is taken out of its context. Just wanted to clarify that according to Shiite principles, a Marjae-e Taghlid should have a Tozihol Massael for his followers. In fact as far as I know that is a requirement for being a Marja. Now if you look at different Resalehs, you'll see that they're basically all the same and only in minor details they differ. So whoever decided to publish this green book wanted to portray the misconception that Khomeini was unique in his way of thinking. However if you read others' Resalehs you will see the same issues being discussed.

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Fri Dec 04, 2009 06:14 AM PSTKhomeini took a dump on Iran with the full cooperation of Iranians. I see how China; India and Korea; even Vietnam as advancing but we are in the dumpster. I was at a conference on technology last year. It was full of Koreans giving talks on various technologies. There were Iranians there but all of them were Iranians living outside of Iran. Why is that? Because we were stupid enough to pick a dinosaur for a leader. It makes my heart ache to see my beloved country in the backwoods.
Instead of Khomeini we should look at people like "Ahmad Kasravi" for guidance. Oops the Islamists murdered him. In our recent history whenever there has been a forward thinking person the Islamists have murdered them. Wake up folks the world is moving on and so should we.

by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Fri Dec 04, 2009 05:03 AM PSTthese were not days when people could send texts or read online and watch youtube to decipher the code of khomeini. shah was so dumb... so stupid that he feared this guy. mardom got their news about him from word of mouth. we were so tired of this MEGALOMANIAC shah, who had to have us cheering his sorry a** even when we paid to see a movie (you probably liked this I'm sure).
no one disputes what an idiot khomeini is. even people who supported him. you can't say the same for shahollahis. anyways, in those days, just hearing or reading his name once gave people hope. that's how desperate people were. so instead of bashing revolutionaries for not writing complete disserations and hold meet the press sessions, let's discuss conspiracy theories.
the saddest thing about shah was that noriega only gave that idiot help because he wanted to get under the sheets with farrah. i could learn to live with that too, if i had taken so much gold and riches. what a fun time shah and them had. too bad they gave it up. really. you have to be stupid to give up all that and claim that it's out of love for the country.
so i guess that leads me to ask monseiur darius, why didn't shah do his homework? why didn't that idiot educate anyone, including himself, when Israelis were trying to get through to him. when his own military wanted to have their families taken out of Iran, never to serve? why didn't he help us? screw him. he screwed us.
i can't believe you come and tell people "revolution was not hijacked!! see!!!" after you click play on a youtube video, but you write entire blogs salivating over reza pahlavi when he bought a bull horn from office depot and shuffled his way in front of the white house to chant "FREEDOM IN IRAN!!!" give me a break. to make it worse, you said this was proof that reza pahlavi is "READY TO LEAD IRAN". Boro baba digeh. As if Khomeini wasn't bad enough. Let's get another person who doesn't know anything about governance and leadership a country! because he ain't mooslim and he's got to be good if he says democracy and writes blogs.

by ramin parsa on Fri Dec 04, 2009 04:57 AM PSTWith all due respect, your take on Zbig Brzezinski is inaccurate to a large degree. It was not a case of doushebag Carter listening to Vance as opposed to Zbig Brezezinski when it came to supporting the Shah -- that's Gary Sick's self-serving version of the facts -- Gary Sick having been a member of Carter's National Security team.
In many ways, the "arc of crisis" theory was the brainchild of Brzezinski. His hatred of the Russians (as a Pole) was a major motivating factor. But don't forget that Bernard Lewis, the celeberated British Jew, the boy wonder of Israel, came up with the "green belt" theory, which was eagerly adopted by the US National Security advisor at the time, one Mr. Brzenzinsky.
And not to further forget is that the destabalization of the monarchy started during the Ford administration, with men like Rumsfeld and Cheney, representatives of the oil industry within the American government, pushing to humiliate and casterate the Shah and make him eat humble pie in retaliation for his aggressive oil policies. For example, Rumsfeld and co., including Kissinger, who I consider an accessory to the Shah's demise, heavy-handedly cajoled Saudi Arabia to produce over 10 million barrels of oil per day in 1977 (an ungodly sum) in order to send oil prices crashing down, to further hurt the Iranian economy, which was already on the skids, at the worst possible time for the Shah, which sabotaged his chances of survival.
And as a veteran of the Trilateral Commission and their representative in the White House, Zbig Brzezinski, was secretly working against the Shah, deliberately sending him mixed signals all throughout 1978 in order to confuse the monarch and paralyze the government, all along making it look as if he wanted an army crackdown in late 1978, when in fact, he sponsored Huyser's mission, which was to neuter the army.
Men like Brzezinski FULLY knew that the civilian government (Bakhtiar) and the provisional government (Bazargan) had absolutely no chance of survival in the face of massively financed and coordinated Hezbollahi assault, with the backing of the UK.
So, people like Brzezinski openly supported Bakhtiar, knowing full well that he was doomed from the start, knowing that sooner than later they would get their grand wish in Iran, i.e., a country that would be wrapped by the green belt of Islam, as James Bill and Bernard Lewis had clamored for, and thus, would not only be safeguarded from the Soviets, but also, taken back 500 years seemingly over night, reversing much of the Shah's ambitious modernizing efforts, and therefore, eliminating any possiblity of a "second Japan" in Asia, which according to Kissinger, was something that America "could not afford."
Two birds, one stone = thanks to Mullah Khomeini and his tretcherous green belt, thanks to that reptilian charlatan, Mr. Green Card, aka, Ebrahim Yazdi, whose benefactor was/is to this day, no other than Mr. Brzezinski, of the "arc of crisis" theory, thanks to Jimmy Carter and the major oil companies that got him elected, thanks to England and their hereditary association with the reactionary forces in Iran (read: the Ulama), thanks to scholars-for-hire (read: whores) like James Bill and Bernard Lewis, who was also a major proponent of the 2003 Iraq invasion, etc. etc.
In short, Zbig Brzezinski was no real friend nor ally of the late Shah, which explains his admitted, albeit inexplicable, disdain for his son, Reza Pahlavi.
Another Proof that YOUR Revolution was NOT Highjacked !
by Darius Kadivar on Fri Dec 04, 2009 03:10 AM PSTKhomeiny Did Everything in his power to Avoid Compromise and push towards a bloody confrontation with the Regime.
This is already before the Jaleh Square Massacre and his tone and Hypocrisy in the light of what happened is truly striking.
Even when the Shah acknowledged the Revolution after getting contradictory signals from the US administration through Ambassador Sullivan :
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fqgVDNFHu4
Khomeiny Maintained his staunch stance to the very end.
It proves Khomeiny's political intelligence and astute machiavelic sense of manipulation of the masses.
Even with Bakhtiar's government towards which he expressed hatred :
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=il4W6NjaU8o
This is where Khomeiny's Revolution Had NOTHING to do with the Velvet Revolutions in Poland or Eastern Blog Countries which were adamant at forcing the regimes they opposed to establish a Dialogue with the opposition.
Cyrus Vance unlike Brezenski at the time ( or what they claim today) was amongst those who despite his Persian name ( but not blood) opposed the Shah. Ultimately it was Cyrus Vance who Carter listened to and not Brezenski ... And the Guadeloup Conference put an end to any hope of a support to the Shah's regime and the establishment of a Truly Constitutional Monarchy with the Royal Family as simply figureheads and Not Rulers.
By 1980 Crown Prince Reza would have been 20 and according to the Constitution, the Shah could have abdicated in his favor.
pictory: Zbigniew Brzezinski in the Oval Office with President Jimmy Carter, Ardeshir Zahedi ( Iran's Ambassador in Washington), and last but not least Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi
pictory: Reza Pahlavi and Jimmy Carter (1977)
How Strange that despite Brezenski's experience of what happened in Iran back in 1979 , Brezenski ( who also happens to be Trita Parsi's Mentor) has been one of those staunch opponents of Reza Pahlavi today knowing that the latter has precisely proposed the Velvet Revolution Scenario which helped Liberate Brezinski's former Country of Origine Poland from Communist Tyranny ...

by ramin parsa on Fri Dec 04, 2009 02:55 AM PSTYes, people were fooled by the French Khomeini, primarily because charlatans like Ebrahim Yazdi polished the Hendi mullah and made him look like a moderate, when he was a barbaric extremist. And of course, that monumenally treasonous jackass, Sanjabi (of Jebh-e-Melli) carried out the ultimate sin when he went to France in September of 1978 and kissed the back of Khomeini's hand, thinking he would become the first post-monarchy Prime Minister in Iran.
The ordinary Iranian outside of Qom did not know Khomeini very well if at all, but almost all ordinary Iranians knew of, and respected the Jebh-e-Melli, as Mossadegh's nationalistic party, and by association, Mr. Sanjabi's endoresement of Khomeini was for all intense and purposes akin to Mossadegh's endorsement of Khomeini from the grave.
In many sordid ways, Sanjabi's endorsement of the French Khomeini sealed the victory of the revolution. This is a black mark on the legacy of the Jebh-e-Melli.
