Persian Tv
by MonicaPlath on Fri Feb 19, 2010 08:49 PM PSTSubsequent to watching a few hours of persian television, namely channel one of Shahram Homayoun I find myself agreeing to many of the things he discusses. I also enjoy the way in which he puts a lot of emotion into every one of his shows. What I don't like, and my dislike might be due to my lack of knowledge of him, is that he seems to only consider and allow individuals who are part of the "khunevade" to voice their opinions during phone calls. Anothing thing which consists of a general opinion of mine not only about channel one but as well as the other channels is my questioning about what they will do if Iran comes to democracy one day. They will no longer have any topics for their present tv shows and their businesses will most probably be dead. Thus leading up to the fact that, is it a possibility that these hosts such as Shahram Homayoun might actually want the regime to stay Islamic and remain oppressive towards its citizens because they are some what profiting and keeping their political businesses alive and going?
You're right Abarmard
by IRANdokht on Wed Dec 23, 2009 09:29 AM PSTI just went and checked the channel 1 IRIB website and saw the logo too.
Isn't it stupid that these LA based "oppositions" are making comedy programming for the Seda v Sima?! Apparently they have some following too which makes it tragic...
Merry Christmas to you and yours my dear friend and I wish you a wonderful year ahead.
:o)

Salam Dokhtar e Iran
by Abarmard on Tue Dec 22, 2009 06:04 AM PSTMerry Christmas. The blue logo is Channel 1, from IRIB. I am sure about that.

by IRANdokht on Mon Dec 21, 2009 10:57 AM PSTI had to click on the clip to see the logo you're talking about, but I am at work, so I turned the video to mute... It was hilarious to see this guy all riled up all the same. I don't even need to hear him, people who are that agitated like the Fox News O'Reilly, Limbaugh and Beck are too emotional to make sense anyway :o)
btw: I think that's irannegah.com's logo.

Question
by Abarmard on Mon Dec 21, 2009 10:46 AM PSTWhy is the Islamic Republic Broadcasting mark on the top left corner of this clip?
Very well said Q
by Arash_1970 on Mon Dec 21, 2009 09:52 AM PSTGuys like him are the left overs of a generation that will be extinct very soon.
iranian fox news
by hamsade ghadimi on Mon Dec 21, 2009 09:23 AM PSTi didn't know of this guy before. and although i agree with the gist of his argument about the mk; i think he sounds like a fool. just like fox news anchors who resort to name-calling and ridicule of people who disagree with their ideology. the callers also were just using slogans with no intellectual reasoning. watching it was a waste of time. and in his style, if anyone disagrees with me, i'm just going to put my hands over my ears and go "la la la la la la la la."
How sad! Someone please explain why?!!!
by farrad02 on Mon Dec 21, 2009 09:20 AM PSTShouldn't all groups and factions who oppose the Mullah dictatorship stand united together and leave dumb differences aside, at least for now?
And how did Shahram Homayoun and MKO got to this point? I haven't watched Channel One for several years and don't understand how they came to be main enemies to each other?!!
Can someone type a short history of how Homayoun and MKO got to this point? How does MKO benefit from attacking Channel One? and vice versa?
What a Farce!
by Mola Nasredeen on Mon Dec 21, 2009 08:42 AM PSTand clowns like this guy want to change the regime in Iran. With "leaders" like him you can imagine how disturbed the "followers" are.
Shahram Homayoon
by masoudA on Mon Dec 21, 2009 07:35 AM PSTIs one of the few Iranian patriots of his generation who has actually done some positive things for the IR Opposition. He was single hanedly responsible for re-emergence of the Shir-O-Khorshid flag, something I consider quiet important in unification of at least some of the anti IR crowd. In the process, Homayoon has also made $$$ - but noosh e Joonesh, when one considers so many others who have frustrated opposition resources without anything to show.
As for MKO - the very entity that planned and devised the Islamic Republic also created MKO.
BTW - Generally speaking - when you see Mousir&Piaz and Q on the same side - just go against them you will be on the correct side.!!!
IRI Propaganda
by Pahlevan on Mon Dec 21, 2009 07:02 AM PSTIt's quite telling when some people start cheering on IRI propaganda against its opposition. I didn't know this guy before watching this video, but watching some of his videos on youtube, I must say he doesn't seem like a bad guy, as he is neither a Monarchist nor a Mojahed. Certainly his gooz is worth more than joojeh Hezbols like "Q".
I disagree with Amir19
by Maryam Hojjat on Mon Dec 21, 2009 05:58 AM PSTShahram Homayoun is a patriotic who is working hard as an opposition to free IRAN. Do not forget running a TV station cost money and he is very skillfully raising money to promote his agenda which is freedom & Liberty for IRAN & IRANIASNS.
Payandeh IRAN & IRANIANS
Down with Mojahedin e Khalgh

by Q on Mon Dec 21, 2009 04:23 AM PSTthe irony is both this fatass and the cultist fanatics over the phone are already extinct as far as most Iranians are concerned. We don't know the future of Iran, but everyone knows it will involve neither the Tehrangelesi fossils, nor the Rajavi freaks.
But if they want to go down swinging at each other, so be it.
I'm with Amir19
by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on Mon Dec 21, 2009 12:05 AM PSTlots of hot air indeed.
A lot of hot air
by Amir19 on Sun Dec 20, 2009 09:37 PM PSTI am not by any means a supporter of Mojahedin, but since I have lived in Los Angeles for 11 years, I know Shahram Homayoun very well and although he is very good in fooling many Iranians from other States in USA but the fact is he is a self-centered S.O.B who does anything to earn an extra $.
Our Iranian Rush Limbaugh....
by Emil on Sun Dec 20, 2009 09:13 PM PSTPlease leave our Iranian "Rush Limbaugh" Shahram Homayoun alone....
