These corrupt and [NOKAR SEFAT] Arab leaders are disgrace to entire humanity.

by capt_ayhab on Tue Jan 13, 2009 12:10 PM PSTTruthfully, your post is one of the most candid and realistic comments I have seen in a long while in this site.
Although I am personally against IR, but I see it to be BIRTHRIGHT of any nation, INCLUDING Iran to have proper weapons to defend herself.
USA has to come to terms that Iran must be recognized for rich and ancient civilization she has had, and not to be treated as 70 million souls that are out there to strip the world from its so called [DEMOCRACY]. West must realize that nations need to be left alone to prosper, and not to impose [zuur chepoon]its agenda to other nations.
Israel, which has started 99% wars in past 60 years are sitting on 200 warheads, and so far they have demonstrated to be THE most TERRORIST nation ever existed. They are not only a terrorist in true meaning of the word, but have demonstrated to be GENOCIDAL and RACIST in true meaning of the word.
What makes me the sickest is that some of these SO CALLED Iranians, who are truly a disgrace to Iran and Iranians, call for booming of their own home land.

Don't get so excited! Go focus on the fiasco wars, and $trillion economical $hit hole.

by Benyamin (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 01:13 PM PSTI think the issue isnot Iran obtaining nuclear capability .... what is going on here? the Persian gulf region Arab states are all rich and floating in money, but up to now they bribed other powers to protect their illigitimate stand on their nations. and now they can feel it. Iran is getting more powerful with or without nuclear bomb. and the balance of power is changing consequently and with it so is the game. and since they are weak or weakend players and can`t cope with the new player therefor started drumming that they are worried about Iran obtaining nuclear power, which with or without that Iran is going to be the very same BOSS as always been for the past 3000 years over them with the exception of the last 150 years. and that is where they know that they have to pay for all of their crimes against Iranians and all of their betrayals wont go unpunished!
That is right, they are worried, but not for the nuclear Iran but their own illigitimacy. it will be like Hong Kong, one day china just got it back. So beware Bahrain!

by Vince (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 01:05 PM PSTI totally agree, in fact if Iran really wants nukes that bad the U.S . Air Force should just drop a couple off there for them.
Some of you truely amaze me, you complain about how IRI treats its own people, your people, then you some how switch gears and talk like this ruthless regime would not think of using a weapon like this on its sworn enemies? Can anyone please explain this rational?
Next I'll hear that Israel has them. So what! Israel having nuclear weapons doesn't bother me in the least. Some one marching around screaming "DEATH TO AMERICA" does.
I might agree with the "Mutual assured annihilation" theory except when you throw God into the equation. People do some pretty stupid things for seventy two virgins.

The question that comes up
by suomynona (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 11:59 AM PSTThe question that comes up for me every time i see one of these type of interviews with the "concerned experts" is: what is so horrible about iran (this government, previous shah's, or any other future government) obtaining nuclear weapons capability?
to me, it sounds like 'fear mongering' and nothing more. the 'experts' never go into any realistic and honest explanation of why this is going to be such bad news. any four year old can tell you there will never be any nuclear wars when mutual annihilation is assured.
the most genuine explanation i have heard is from Obama's mouth. he said: "...it is unacceptable as it will be a game-changer in the middle east..."
translated it means: if iran (and by extension any other oil-rich ME countries) get nukes, it will no longer be "what-we-say-goes" and that is not tolerable. the old british attitude of "its our oil under their sand" is alive and well in the west.
in time, we americans and other western citizens will have to come to grips with reality: "it's their resources, and the most we could hope for is they will sell it to us if they choose to ... nothing more".
Lipidists beware!
by Bahramg08 (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 10:46 AM PSTI noticed that some friends here keep commenting about His Excellency's body mass in a non-flattering manner. Please friends, you are running the risk of being seen as LIPIDIST (as in racist, sexist, classist, etc-ist) :-)).
By the way, no one should ever accuse us Iranians of not contributing anything to the body of knowledge. Here I am, an Iranian, and proud of ti, and I have just enriched the English language by coining the term LIPIDIST :-). Don't you think this is a very worthwhile contribution? :oo).
Best regards,

almighty OIL (to Choghok)
by Anonym7 (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 08:19 AM PSTEvery country has some "Ahmadinejads" (extremists). Compared to Israel and the U.S Iran has much fewer of them. Additionally guys like "Ahmadinejad" in Iran are much less powerful and constrained that mad men like "Chenney", and the other oil junkies who would do anything for almighty OIL.
why do they keep saying
by fed up (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 07:50 AM PSTwhy do they keep saying "IRANIANS are developing nuclear Bombs". I'm Iranian and I'm not developing anything

by choghok on Thu Jan 08, 2009 07:48 AM PSTDon't you think Iran is not aggressive since It can not attack any of those countries.
Iran does not have the potential to attack so it is not aggressive. If it does in one day then do not be surprised if Ahmadinejad start making new statements and make your life a nightmare.

by Anonym7 (not verified) on Thu Jan 08, 2009 07:29 AM PSTKashani, neither you, nor the Emir, nor Donald Dock for that matter, need to be "terrified". Unlike Israel and U.S Iran is not an aggressive country.

by A. Hassan Danesh (not verified) on Wed Jan 07, 2009 07:19 PM PSTRest assure! Iran will never develop nuclear weapon. It is an outdated source of national pride and with further progress of knowledge it has alreadu become an absolete weaponary artificat of the past with no one willing to wield it as a weapon of choice to maintain supramcy...
Now having said that the question remains on the table is what do we have for dinner or is it that it is better to either skip it or cut it in half or have a light salad instead to help the individual to stay fit ...healthy with minimized build up toxic elements in the body...to avoid premature heart attack...

by Farhad Kashani on Wed Jan 07, 2009 05:40 PM PSTHe is one of the most respected leaders in the world and he is a wise leader and a moderate Arab. He is, like everyone else, terrified of the thought of the IRI regime getting nukes.
He knows thats dooms day.
He visits Tehran so often
by farrad02 on Wed Jan 07, 2009 05:42 PM PSTI see pictures of this guy's visits to Tehran on Iran's many news agency sites all the time. He obviously likes going there and is there so often, why doesn't he discuss his concerns with them?!
So, someone needs to ask the fat bastard, "you like chelo kabab and Persian girls, but you can't speak your worries to your hosts when you are in Tehran?"
The second question is why this guy doesn't hire some tutor or teacher to learn some English for God's sake. Isn't he a foreign minister?
The full version...
by Ajam (not verified) on Wed Jan 07, 2009 05:36 PM PSTThis is an editted version of the interview which makes it sound ambiguous (especially with the sound and image out of sync!). I have seen the full version in which he actually says that this is a regional issue and that the countries in the region do not feel threatened by Iran and are after good relations with their neighbour... In fact the doughboy was pretty well toeing the line with Tehran!
Let them have their bomb
by S.Zahedi (not verified) on Wed Jan 07, 2009 05:28 PM PSTWith people like him and their governments, Iran needs the bomb and with hate mongers like Israel, Iran MUST develop the bomb!
And this guy is the leader of a country?
by ghalam-doon on Wed Jan 07, 2009 01:39 PM PSTI think I saw a smirk on Charlie Rose's face. He was thinking to himself "by golly, and this is one of our allies in the region?"
I think the people of the region should be very afraid. This guy is a ticking bomb himself. He could eat the whole region in one sitting!
